ok, here's a really weird one. Best I can tell its just an asteroid field on top. However, note the phase lanes in the second image, they do not connect, you have to go back where you came from. [img] [/img] <a href="http://s45.photobucket.com/albums/f8

Have you tilted the axis of the map? Sometimes objects appear to be overlapping but instead are actually on different planes, thus phase lanes are required (and everything is functioning as is!)
I have to totally agree with Rickder19 here. Not only do units but everything else stinks of WC3. I mean just look at the mouse controls - you click to select units and you click and drag to select multiple ones - where does Sins get off so blatantly ripping off Warcraft?! And don't even get me started on keyboard shortrcuts - F10 to call up the main menu - that's exactly the same as in every warcraft game! I understand copying a feature or two, I mean if something's done right then it'd
Serondal... Not to tangent here folks (but I'm going too), I'm still waiting for a remake of Masters of Magic too. Boy did I spend some time at that game. Showing my age I guess.
I don't believe I just spent my time reading this thread. lol I demand a refund on my time!!! :)
Take a look at your NIC card. I don't believe this is a firewall issue since you are in fact able to connect. If you are seeing a 5,000ms response, and the ISP is not, I'd think it is something between your NIC card and the modem. Turn off auto and hard set it to 100M or whatever type of NIC you got. Might be retransmitting packets if it is having trouble auto-negotiating. What other P2P games have you tried? I just can't believe this is a Sins problem because we're talking about probl
And is everything coming together? I too might be interested, I'm in central time as well and can be reliable.
Wow, he's in the future. That's weird.
lol, I was thinking the same thing!
Are you using an Nvidia graphics card? Based on what I'm reading, I can almost gues you are. Check your other games. Sometimes your video drivers will get corrupted affecting all Direct3D games. Go to dxdiag and test Direct3D. If it gives you the same error, your drivers are corrupted. Uninstall the drivers and delete the Nvidia folder to ensure everything is gone and reinstall the card/drivers. I experienced a very similar problem recently, but it wasn't only with Sins, it was anythin
Cobalt, I would agree. COD4, BF2, Planetside, those voice systems go largely unused, and instead you see banners with a useable TS/Vent address for that server (if you are not on one already with friends).
My 8800GT runs flawless at the highest settings. Averaging 60+ FPS. I'm using XP.
I say just change the default jump time to a higher value. Thus the 250% would grow substantially and even where PJI's are not in place it would help hopscotching. And bringing in reinforcements would a 'pins and needles' affair, adding to the intensity.
I'd like to shake the wackos hand. This mega game is excellent. Me and a buddy are playing a 2v2v2v2v2 on the huge random map and are loving it. We forgot to lock teams, however, so the dynamics have shifted quite a bit. lol Is there anyway to see who is allied to whom? Krool
