ID047 error

Even with the folder manually created, it still isn't capturing screenshots, it just displays the message and increments as if the files actually existed.

I made a separate thread as I didn't notice this one, but I'm having the same issue. I know where the directory should be, and it seems to be incrementing the file names as though there were other screenshots, but after a file search the pictures were definitely not anywhere on the system. This was an issue in Hellgate apparently as well, but was only present in Vista systems on the DX10 client. However, I'm running XP and the game is DX9, so I would imagine it should be a different problem.

Am I the only one who designs fleets around capital ships rather than by ship type?

Actually, there's a mod like this going on (or at least it was for a while) for Homeworld. I would love to see it, because while I like the Eve universe and the ships, the game has always been a little too slow paced for me to stick with.

Ok, I just got worried when I found out it released and didn't see an e-mail to the effect of something shipping, and thought something might have been wrong with my order or somesuch. I haven't checked back in a while. Thanks for clarifying.

Any idea when they'll be going out/how we'll be notified? It's been out for two days, and I can download it just fine so I can play the game, but I haven't received an email or anything about the retail box as of yet.

Personally I'm happy with how it is thus far, and am not sure I would want it any more open than it is currently. Though, adding planetary bodies with orbits that say, have a phase lane that is only accessible every so often, could make things interesting.

Don't overextend yourself until you have the infrastructure to do so. In addition, keep in mind you can purchase materials off the stock market if you need some quick resources. Most importantly, make sure you're grabbing the asteroid fields that can be colonized that are full of minerals as well, not just the planets. In addition, don't underestimate the power of trade routes.

I started a topic to try and entice the Xfire staff to add support for the Sins beta, but nobody else is biting. So I figured I might find some support here.

The M AI seems a little too persistent with destroying planets. I had one leave it's fleet flying around my planet after wiping out the surrounding structures and use its one little capital ship to slowly peck away at the planet. The problem is it was essentially getting nowhere, and had it's whole fleet tied up in that area. It didn't start moving it's fleet around again until it finally took out the planet a good 30+ minutes later. Might be intentional for the M difficulty level though. Just t

Personally, I think what Steam does is fine, since there is an option to make an offline backup. What 2K did with bioshock is unacceptable and had I known before I bought it, there isn't a chance I would have. As it is I need to keep a crack burned to disk to make sure in the future their activation servers or some such don't decide to just go away and leave my completely legitimate copy SOL. As for starforce, well, we don't even need to go into that.

I have to say I am dissapointed with Beta 3. We still have to deal with the ugliness of TEC ships.... and that is just depressing. how can you be desipointed with it when it isn't even out yet?!?!?!? Curse his post! He made me scramble and try to make sure I didn't somehow miss Beta 3 starting.

Hooray! I finally placed my pre-order. Can't wait for Beta 3 to start.

Well, I've been putting off doing the whole pre-order thing because the release is so far off and I was hoping to just wait it out until then. Basically, my resolve is failing =p. So I guess my question is if they're still offering beta access if you pre-order (I was under the impression the last chance was July 31st) or if they will be doing so again with Beta 3.
