C:\Users\ \AppData\Roaming\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\ nope, got no such folder. I dont have any "appdata" folder anywhere, the user file (which is called "user") has two files within it, neither are appdata. Maybe you must change the File/Folder Options, so that you can see hidden folders <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc

Good to read, i wouldnt like to build up a System, like lordkosc only, by only writing some stuff under VS into a file... I like it visual, like girls with BIG Boobs, there you get a visual feedback

You can take over a Planet with your Broadcaststations, they spread your Culture to other Planets.

What you see is what you believe. The People on the Planet/Asteroid dont see the Ships in the Orbit, but the see the Broadcast on theier TVs.

An other Game with someone from the UK and two from the US was a tragedy. Laggy game without smooth gameplay, one from the US dropt at the beginning and the one from UK freaked out because of the lag and quited the game.

I played a 2,5 hour Game with BB from the UK(I am from Germany). Awesome Game till we both had a disconnect. He lost the chance to eleminate me and a short time before the Game crashed I got the stronger position. BUT: After an hour or so, i couldnt hear the sound anymore, the music was still there but not the other sounds. BB had a small lag at the beginning and I had a small lag after 1,5 hours, the rest of the Game was smooth.

Sorry Pollux, but most RTS(the big ones) dont have random Maps. Because its hard for the Computer to build up a balanced Map with all the terrain features. Sins can do it, because the terrain is Space , sooo Sins kicks the ASS of all RTS games .... by the way Sins isnt a RTS game

How about having two levels of that option: First one: You can have only one Planet within a Star System, with level one.(and no level two) It raises the output of nearby Planets, but only half as good as lvl two. Second one: You can have only one Planet within the whole Map, with level two. Its like the normal Capital Planet Option we knew.

My problems come from my old hardware. My graphic card is getting too hot, so i guessed that could be your problem. And the ram, i have had bad ram in the past, not the whole memory could be used.

lol ^^ Ive also got this problem, but with smaller maps. But i know thats because my hardware is old. Maybe there is an interference problem within your hardware. heat cheap Ram or defect Ram defect motherboard or graphic card You should search in that direction. Changing your System to Xp isnt advisable, because many new drivers only work with Vista or are working better with Vista.

I know that Bug and I know how you can recreate it. If you set up a Game and make more than 2 Groups of Players, youll win if one of the other Groups was wiped out.(not locked teams) Ah and you cannot win this match if you continue the Game.

The whole aspect of traveling through the gravity wells isn't settled yet. The old way of doing things (Ships could phase out through the local gravity well) was too quick. The current system of move to the point at where the phase lane hits the gravity well is too slow. We're still trying to find a healthy medium. Jop, how about a clear line of sight model. Ships can jump to a other System, if their sight is
