When you guys @Varlen are back from Holidays, you should perhaps checkout what you have done to the mulitplayer balance by doubling the bombing damage. A close range Vasari player can now just double Vulkoras with is platforms, and kill a homeworld in like 2 minutes and there is no obvious counter. The vette balance was welcome, the bombing damage change is ridiculous.

Just in case anyone is still awake... After ICO lagging badly yesterday, I can't get on from downunder today, but the US guys seem to be on there. Did AU IPs get blocked because of a ddos or is it just me?
Once again in a tight battle where I coulda held him at hw, matheus proc planet for a planet with pirates to wipe me in 2 minutes... This is serious exploit and matheus is scum for using it. Fix asap.... it should only be against the aggressor http://imgur.com/a/oaDsK
Ok so Matheus is a good player, but this is not in the spirit of any sins game IMO. It turns our Planet for a Planet is broken (AL 3rd tier harmony), and that once an opponent takes for example a roid of yours, you can keep it going infinitely by letting pirates bomb out a world you keep retaking behind your front line. This gives you an indefinite 25% damage increase... indefinite... it never expires. The wording is that it give a bonus against the "aggressor", but in
Im not sure how long trademark can be retained in the US, but..... Can someone page Lucusarts and get them on these guy's case? You would think that if anyone in nerd culture had a trademarking case on "Rebellion" it would be Lucasarts. With Disney now running the franchise for the next trio of bad movies, they'd sure to have deeper pockets than these clowns (reb. dev. not ironclad) <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_Rebellion_%28comics%
[quote who="ARESIV" reply="61" id="3276980"]Who? I am sorry but with you and Sel as company I would fear for your lives in any game with a remotly intelligent human enemy. I also think you misjudge the amount of damage done to structures by wail. A wail powerful enough to destroy the important structures is more than enough to effortlessly wipe anything below caps. Now I dont know about how you "skilled" people calculate, but I would trade a few logistics for
HAHAH Thanks Sel. Who is that guy? If he doesnt sorta understand/half agree with my post then he's either a forum warrior or said asshat. Make your self known in skilled 5s games champ. youll soon be shown you how a temple on every AR planet in game means Novas or the Vasari super weapon to jump in on them is the only way to really crack it open (when the game has ended up fleet intensive with vettes and carriers making up most fleets). At least now if you jump in from
hmmmm, not sure about these changes. Wail is still an absolute monster, but this change will make AR players more restricted on where they might want to Wail... That said, it is still a game changer and Im not sure the 'skilled' games should welcome it back. Wailing a desert or terran that only has a couple of lanes connecting it (like most choke points are) will still be stupidly good value and over powered. Having to recolonise and rebuild a couple of lab
Heya lads, Reinstalled and enjoying it again, but today there were some crazy 5s where I thought we had picked balanced teams with Auq, JB, Krath, etc.... and along comes Daniel. He dominated with quick expansion and attacking the guy who had help clean out krath from the pocket position. The map helped him both times with good roids and terrans, but it was still amazing, like HT and Tyrr in the day cept he was a one man army. So it has me wondering how t
Replying in a Nabs thread SOS (SAVE OUR SINS) Jesus would lol
No smurfing, here just havent been on for ages.... tempted to get the credit card out and add diplomacy... see yas all soon
I hear ya. As jule says, try to be on at lunchtime saturdays so we cross over with friday nights on the westcoast for best numbers. Otherwise you will often see me sitting there, one of 12 people on after 7pm Aus-EST...
Does this include the initial connection to ICO? I understand that the port settings etc are important for hosting, joining, playing but there are still a few of us who havent even got the stage of seeing the innerworkings of ICO because we get the disconnected message at the account creation and the login requests and cant seem to fix it. You put in your details, get ~40sec wait and then the disconnected from ironclad online message. Does the ICO front-end also need port and firewall setting
Still no good... I turn off norton, turn off WindowsXP fire wall add the 6112 and 6000 TCPs to the exeptions list, still no joy. I am at a university so it may be at the uni gateway, but Im not at the stage of joining games or channels where I thought that'd be a problem, I still haven't been able connect to ICO to create an account! This was a digital download through the SDC console... any chance there is a simple fix thats in the software somewhere? I
Its the first time I've tried to use ICO. At the account creation I have used my stardock UN and PW and the serial I got with the digital download purchase. Ill read through themonks guide to see if my port settings are the problem.... nothings ever easy eh.
Having the same problem with a newly purchased install today (April 14th). Same deal?
