I think its easier to save the designs without weapons and defence. This way when you can adjust your tactics based on what techs you have and what your enemies have. It does take a little more time this way, but you will have a lot fewer designs to sort through.
Clawt
There should be a delete button in the ship yard when you have that design selected.
First post in a long time here, Are we ever going to get the promised "Legacy of the Telenanth" or is it considered dead? [e digicons]:\[/e]
Ahhh, thats helps a ton! Thanks so much! I feel silly now [e digicons][/e]
If you cap the factories, do you win, or do you have to cap all the sub bases too?
Yeah, I did not hear what you hear(d) :(
Hey I am stuck there too! there is nothing like having 9 units to stop 100's I just lost, I had build 27 to their 286. I did manage to kill 148 at least. ohh gee that is a lot of fun!
Simple genius! I always named planets crazy names for fun. Now I can name them something useful.
Space Rangers 2 with expansion for only 4 bucks? Sign me up :D
Thanks! I will give them a read. I do have a log-in for Cinemawares forums so that is A-OK with me :)
I was looking for on an E-book I had saved who knows where and I saw the Icon for Space Rangers 2 on my desktop and started it up again after more then 6 months of not playing. I forgot how awesome this game is, but can not remember a thing about it. I can not seem to find any good reading on the game anymore... Are there any sites left with good space rangers info?
Although, why the hell does Longer Trade Route = More Money???
The longer the route the more dangerous it and the more chance you have to lose the ship. That seems like a good reason to reward you with more money.
Not sure if I should have posted this in the Sins of a Solar Empire board or here, but I would love to see a version of the current GalCiv2 in that engine. Both are kick butt games, but it would be so awesome to see the GalCiv Universe with the Iron Engine. I would not want to see this be a replacement for another game, but more like a bonus expansion pack or something. The Tech-Trees would need some tweaking, etc..etc.. but it would be like the two coolest games combined! <b
My guess is we will see some super-cool expansion pack that adds news races and content. Look at the amazing support for GalCiv2.
Have fun and enjoy! Merry Christmas to my fav gameng community.
You guys were higher then the WOW expansion... That is so freaking awesome!!!! I hope everyone thats sees the list buys your awesome game! This Sam Adams is for you!
I want a flying car... Randal: Are you saying you wouldnt cut off your foot for the flying car? You are that selfish? Dante: Its my foot how am I supposed to walk? Randal: Why Walk? You'll have the Flying Car!
Do anamolies respawn now? I had this happen quiet a bit in the previous build. There would be no anamolies left, then after a few turns it would lots of invisable ones, then say there are no more left, then found some more...
I would love to see IGBM Inter-galactic ballistic missles. have chem weapons ones, that kill only people and or food. have anti ship ones, have ones that take out planetary improvements and have improvements that protect against missles, and have spys redirect missles to planets that are owned by the civ that launched them. Even could have UP laws to prevent building them.
What about the current 2D type map, but have the planets at different altitudes just for a little visual snap?
I would like to see a ship Garage, so you can make any size ship, with any size hull without having to start a game. Also be able to view\edit the ingame ships too. This way you can spend the time making some really good designs, then have all the all as temletes when you are ready to play.
I have been playing the Yor quite a bit sence they were introduced in the Beta, and the unique techs and the descirptions are quite good. Some are very short, and many are very silly. I personaly laughed quite a bit the first time I get the 'Vrooom' description when I first got GalCiv 2. I just can imagine N-1 planning to take over a planet to make room for more of his kind with his crazy advsior bugging him with what was just researched. Look at it this way. Firefly was way way fun
Starcraft is a cool game, but it did not stand the test of time with me. A few months ago I tried to play it again, but could not get interested in it. I would not say its Over-rated as the people that give it high praise and having fun playing it and that is what counts.I can pop in C&C Tiberium Sun and still have a blast have a blast with it. I think its all in the mind of the beholder, as long as you enjoy the game thats what counts. But if you play the game just cause its
Every single post has been great and made me rethink the of a 3D map quite a bit. I think Unit Selection could be a problem, but in a turn based game, should not pose a real problem if the camera rotation was well executed. Unit Movement would be no problem at all and could even 'borrow' Homeworld's style for this. Or once again, with smart pathing AI and good camera controls, would be easy. Adding depth to the game... The more I think about it, it would just add more time t
Awesome! The crash I was having issues with is gone in this build! (crash at Planet Screen) :CONGRAT: :FREE BEER TO STARDOCK(or soda):
