Thats a bummer, It would be a huge bonus to give an ally a cap ship or something. I didn't think about it before but the idea of logistical slots would be awesome as well.

I have yet to pre-order it yet as my buddies and I are still playing entrenchment and not everyone has 10 bucks to drop on a new game. Anyways my question is will Diplomacy allow a player to give another player ships or planets? It makes sense that if you can give money you can also give property.

Is there any planned support for the G15 keyboard? Or has anyone gotten the keyboard to work with Sins in a meaningful way(Like displaying income rate, or important messages)? The game rocks out without it but its still a "nice to have"

Just downloaded your mod and played through a multiplayer game with a couple buddies. Absolutely loved it, I can't imagine the amount of work you put into it. This mod rocks, really happy with it and the new depth it brings to the game. Great job. Only question I had was about the planet abilities. Are there new planet types like Ocianic or is that just a research ability that pertains to some planet type you may own. If its a new planet type how will that be added with Galaxy forge? Entrenchment rocks, I really enjoy the new features of the game but some of the balancing is a little confusing to me. When my buddy and I play I almost always run with Advent and him with TEC. So the TEC starbase can build ships, the Vassari starbase can move, what can the Advent starbase do that so special? If its the culture thing then whatever, Advent got ripped. Just downloaded the latest version of Galaxy forge and it crashes on startup. Before you start out with the simple stuff I installed the .net 2.0 twice. I attempted to run it from another machine and it crashed as well (XP 32bit and Vista 64 bit) I've ran through this thread more than a couple time and tried everything listed to no avail. Its an end game battle though, If you playing agianst someone and you loose NOTHING in your end game battle then your either cheating or your playing a plant. So when you ask if there is a way to counter it you just did. If you won the fight you countered the swarm. I can't believe anyone would build a fleet of carriers that massive and not include the Advent Mothership for her Malice ability and sprinkle in a couple Raptures for thier concentration aura.

Okay, Ive gotten closer. No matter what I can't get starting locations to be perfectly planet based but if TeamIndex 0 corresponds to team 1 then I can get us starting in our correct systems though which homeworld in that system is still random. its better than nothing I guess. Still no Idea what TeamGroupIndex is so I just left that at -1.

Im am also encountering this problem and have spent some time trying to solve it, though Im no closer than you are. How can TeamIndex correspond to team number when TeamIndex is 0 based? You can't have a team 0. I made a map thats 2v3v3 but its nearly impossible to gets us to start in the locations we all agreed upon. Furthermore what is TeamGroupIndex? I'll continue to work on it and let you know if I find anything, please do the same.

I have been using them since 1.03, they seem to have been given a little boost though it doesn't say it in the patch notes. My question is simple, do multiple PJI stack? If they do how do they stack or is there diminishing returns? I've had a lot of luck setting traps for opponents by using PJI's and keeping a massive fleet one jump away. Im looking to maximize the carnage now :)

The level of micormanagement is completely up to your playing style. I typically play Advent so I'll use that as my example. I usually have 1-2 kick em in the face fleets that consists of 3-5 cap ships. I switch all the abilities to manual to maximize on fleet synergy and antimatter conservation...(Battlecruiser's animosity + Vengance + malice = massive damage). If I'm playing against someone who's good I'll also micromanage the smaller ships to do little things like stay in range of my moth

That portion of the game sucks. That is the only aspect of the game I'm unhappy about. You can tell they put alot of thought into a story but when it came time for a single player campaign it appears they got lazy and/or got pressured to just release. All things considered I guess its a small price to pay for a great game, I would say its definately a pity though. I've no doubt this game will be a contender for PC game of the year but its lack of a campaign will be what prevents

Nice replies, another not on #2. I'm aware that the advent trade structure can focus on gathering but even with a trade structure in the system set on that ability the Crystal/Metal asteroid still says 0/3. Its probably just a minor bug.

Great game, but the maual is not a whole lot of help. So Im coming to here to get answers to a couple questions I've run across during gameplay. 1) Every game I seem to be the highest in "Credits lost to planetary underdevelopment" even though I always research all my planetary upgrades and population cap increases. Every planet I own is maxed out save for a couple of my core worlds that I don't reinforce for bombardment. How am I loosing credits? (I play advent 90% of the time)<br
