Same Problem, pretty much same specs. BTW...minidumps can be found at C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\Temp\Sins Dump

Well...for me, I have been waiting untill they actually fix MP. Right now, it is pretty much unplayable as after an hour or two of play, one player will inevitably mini-dump to desktop and you have to start all over again. I haven't been able to complete a MP game yet becuase of all the constant crashing/mini-dumping. It is so irritating....
Well, you can always use the in game map generator to design a galaxy just the way you want it...for instance, if you want lots of stars but only a few planets, or if you only want one Terran/Desert planet per star, etc, this can all be done using the in game map designer. If you want even more control over how the maps are designed, you can use Galaxy Forge to make a map exactly how you want it.
Well, being that crashes/mini-dumps are becoming more and more common, playing MP games are just difficult to complete period...I haven't been able to finish a single MP game yet becuase either myself or one of the other players will mini-dump and thus we have to start all over again. So if you have a system where any disconnect counts as a loss, then you are going to have alot of losses due to mini-dumps.
I noticed this as well...for some reason, my trade route stopped at 4 planets due to a dead asteroid...even though even though I have lost more planets beyond the dead asteroid that all of trade stations. I was under the impression that the "white line" would follow the longest chain of un-blocked planets. It would seem that instead, once a trade route is created, it can only grow and cannot be moved, and that dead asteroids count as un-avoidable blockages...will this be addressed in a future
Still Want moving turrents. Homeworld had them, so I wouldn't think they would be that difficult. Oh well...it's not a HUGE deal, but I would like to see the option some day...just makes things more "Cinematic"...
Yeah...reviewing the recorded games should be interesting as to what might have caused it. Again, the odd thing is that it doesn't seem to be a complete de-sync, as we can still send text messages to each other, and whenever the "de-synced" player moves his fleets, their current locations are matched up on everyone elses screens. It's just other oddities like explained in the first post that just don't add up... BTW, the files are rather large (more than 6MB), do they compress we
Sorry if this topic has been covered before, but I am not sure what I would call this phenomenon and thus would not know what to search for. Try to follow along if you can...this is very confusing: Two of my friends (friend A and friend B) and I were playing a multiplayer game today and after almost a days worth of play, we noticed some very strange behavior. It seemed as if one of us had become partially de-synced and that the AI was taking over our
Ok...one more point...don't know if this would be possible, but it would be cool if the pirate raid counter could be slightly randomized...(say, it can happen anytime between 10-15 mins.) and the time before the next raid would be unknown; all that the players would hear is the warning that a pirate raid is imminent and the Galactic Undergound button would start to flash red. It would make things alot less predictable and would require players to be more alert...
All these points have been covered before, but just to reiterate them: 1. Allow for games to have multiple means of victory and allow the player/game host to select which victory condition(s) will apply. Examples could be: Domination - defeats set number of opponents Territorial - controls over half of the colonizable "planets" Economic/Trade - accounts for over half of the total credits being generated via trade 2. Allow Player/Game Host to set the freq
I haven't been on the recieving end of a Siege Rush yet, but I have witnessed the AIs use it against each other. In my current game with Two AIs, both of them have built up large (15+) fleets of nothing but Siege frigates. This appears to have happened becuase one AI built up a Siege fleet and destroyed one of his colonies...so instead of sending a fleet to destroy this Siege fleet, the other AI simply built a huge siege fleet of his own and sent it out to destroy his enemies colonies..so in t
