I know they're different kinds of games but I'd still like some opinions from people who've played both. Sins is supposedly "4x" too so I'm guessing it's somewhat comparable. I love space stuff and Sins definitely has the graphics advantage but even though it's amazing looking obviously it's gameplay that keeps you playing a game. I'm a *tad* hesitant about Sins because I've heard from some people that

Alright I realize I'm bound to get some biased answers considering where I'm posting this but whatever... How does this game compare to Civ4 in terms of depth? It's clearly beautiful, and you obviously have way more control over your units in combat than in Civilization (where you had none basically), but how do the diplomacy, research, "city building", etc. aspects compare to the Civ4? Please, no BS!

Well I just found out about Sins and it looks absolutely awesome, I can't believe I hadn't heard about it. Combining SupCom's genious "zoom" innovation with awesome "empire" gaming. I love it. Anyways, I've decided that I can prolly risk pre-ordering the game to get in the beta early, it looks extremely promising, and the dev team seems to be very willing to listen to community suggestions.
