What I really missed within the user interface and I played really a couple of battles now, is advanced grouping of fleets. Afaik we distinguish fleets up to now by gravity wells and using the folder option by shiptype. Of course we can select ship by ship and assign an order. Hi, I run a GeForce 7950 GX2 graphics card in a 3200x1200 resolution mode. First of all I really appreciate that "sins" runs in this resolution without bugging. But since this usually results in a dual screen solution it should be possible to set the screen focus away from the center of the "bit-plane" since this (as with many dual screen configs) results in having the focus on the border between the two screens which reduces fun drastically. of course switching one
as far as I experienced it, this is exactly how it works. the fleet arrangements is what makes fun and founds success.
Well, being used to classic enterprise CAD applications using the camera control feels like using some packages I worked with. The only thing I felt so far is the broken clipping if zooming in moves through an object / spaceship, which makes me see the not designed interior with some flipping panes. I would suggest that the view approaching an object within a certain critical distance jumps through the object, and leaving the other side in the same distance.
