Hi - I tried drivers recommended by PoorMan. Since then I have played for a good while with out a repitition of the problem. *shrug* Who knows?

Greetings. I am adding a note to the one above.. I installed NVIDIA DRIVER 97.46 referenced in PoorManDSO's rather loud yet helpful message 10 slots above this one. I played about 2.5 hours and the problem did not repeat itself. This is in reference to the complaint I had listed above this message. I have Vista 64 4gb ram, 7600. It's an Intel board with dual core in it. after a couple hours, the game froze for about 10 seconds, then went black, then started back up fine. I alt-tabbed and noticed the windows "your display driver has stopped responding..." notification. I played a couple hours more, it happend more and more frequently, but always recovered. When I finished there was a back log of display diver has stopped responded messages. So whatever
