Well, a series of games called "Combat Mission" (released a few years ago), were turn-based/ RTS hybrids set in WW2 Eueropean theater. They did a nice job of allowing the players to give orders, then executed all sides simultaiously for 60 seconds. During which no one could change their commands. Now that kind of game system in SSE would make each game last much longer. And boring. So maybe if only the battles were turn based... I'm still brian-storming on how to make this work.<br/

I would like a turn-based mod for this game converting this RTS into a GalCiv style game play. I am posting this to "test the waters" to see how many other people prefer the turn-based style over RTS. SSE is a beautiful game and the "Unrivalled Scale" description is an understatment. My mind is boggled by the shear size of this game. Great job on build a fantastic game that I expect will win lots of awards. Sincerely, Flash
