For what it's worth, I'm finding it to be a little flakey myself. I've been trying to force myself to get better with QoT, but the Shambler's response (or lack thereof) to the attack-move is quite frustrating at times. Sometimes, as best as I can tell, right before they're in range of the enemy, they stop, and the distance is just slighty (1, 2 pixels, maybe?) too far for them to actually attack. So they wind up sitting there until the enemy closes the distance. Or, if the target was Reg, he

It's done this a couple times, each time during the second game played. Everything was rock solid and smooth until it froze, framerates were running solid until the very end, all temps well within norms. Had to three-finger salute to get back to OS, wouldn't give the normal crash/report message. Seems be a sudden spike right before the end in the memory section of the task manager? My apologies, forgot to check back. :) This is a pretty typical example, and once the appropriate AA setting is set (8Q or 16Q AA), moving the mouse seems to randomly toggle between the normal screen and the above example.

Don't see it posted on the feedback round-up, certainly not since 2D just came out... Basically, 8Q and 16Q levels of AA seem to be consistantly borked. Using a single Nvidia GTX280 & 180.48 drivers, game works flawlessly otherwise. The instant I go to 8Q or 16Q, the screen goes garbled whenever I try to move the mouse. I switch back to regular AA, problem's gone. This honestly isn't a big issue for me, but my card seemed to have the processing headroom, so I was trying it out. Wh

Couldn't see a post for this since the new beta, and couldn't find anything on the posted feedback bugs, so I just figured I'd mention it. The auto-fill function for creating matches seems to jam fairly often. When working right, it'll fill up all the empty slots with CPU characters, but sometimes it will only fill up one or two slots. The remaining slots, I can't even fill them up manually, since no matter what I select from the drop-down list, it ignores it. Exiting out of the match

Yeah, there's an alignment/justification issue with those stats. Nothing serious, but it's there. Here's a screenshot, just for posterity. http://profile.imageshack.us/user/mehve/images/detail/#186/demigodjustificationpromr1.jpg Also of note is that for some reason, the losing side (Forces of Darkness in the screenshot) seems to have golden flags bordering its name? Whereas the winners don't? Any particular reason?

How are you using fraps exactly? Just letting it tell you the current fps? Making a max/min/avg log? Making a recording? I've been using fraps with this game from the beginning, and I"m sure that I've tabbed in and out a few times without any trouble.

I hadn't realized the back towers actually had to turn into archer towers. What's the trigger to make that happen? Because I've had this happen quite often to me. The first few times, I was wondering where the archer towers went, but it seems to happen all the time now, so thought I must have just imagined things :)

The speed increases seen in Vista x64 vs x86 are usually due to the graphics card drivers working better, not the actual game compiling. HL2 for example, actually ran slightly slower once the Source engine went 64-bit, although level load times went down significantly.

Do the 92's cover the 9-series as well? I checked Nvidia's site, and their latest driver listed for that card at still the 77's. I know Nvidia sucks at keeping things up to date, but... If the 92's cover your card, then go for it. They're working quite nicely on my own computer.
like I said, AFAIK, there is only certain ways you can split things. Commonly they put physics and AI on one. And considering the low number of projectiles (especially seeing that arrows don't seem to be physics based) and the fact that for all but five characters in the game, the AI routine is a series of about seven waypoints with a list of stuff to kill if it sees it on the way, neither is a particular toaster roaster.
If you're a spell-caster, proper management of energy should be important, either through avoiding the highest level of a spell, or through purchasing energy boosting items. If you find yourself running into situations where you

This has quite possibly been proposed already, but I couldn't spot it. If it has, this can be ignored. Is there any merit to creating different kinds of damage? The example that comes most readily to mind is Starcraft, where most units inflict 'Normal' damage, but some inflict either 'concussive' or 'explosive' damage. In the case of the two latter, the size of the target affects what percentage of the damage is actually sustained by the target. Concussive damage deals full points to

Not sure I like the idea of being able to downgrade. Too easy to abuse the ability - i.e. mine the hell out of an area, then un-equip the skill and load up on the sniping skill. Then once the mines have been set off, dump the sniping skill and and re-equip mine skills. And so on. One aspect of this game's strategy is your choice of skills with your chosen demigod, and the option to downgrade kind of cheapens the aspect. Plus, if you see your opponent eating towers or mining or using h

The 9800GT cards are supposed to support 16AA, according to manufacture specs, and you've got the latest drivers. Your maximum resolution is apparently 1600x1200. Are you using a CRT monitor? Maybe rendering 16:10 scaling on a 4:3 monitor is causing grief somehow? Just guessing here.

The 6800 (was) a high-end card, while the 7600 was always a mid-range card at best, and certainly never eclipsed the high-end of the previous generation. And the 8600 was basically nil-improvement over the 7600, save for DX10 compatibility. The 8500... a little worse, and honestly not suited for any sort of decent gaming. These days, you can get an 8800GT for as low as $99, and they have a hell of a kick for their price. might be worth looking at, depending on your budget?

So if I interpret your picture correctly, the 'up' arrows indicate what the first two upgrade paths will focus on, and the "Upgrade Path X" statements refer to the special bonuses gained at the end of each of the three upgrade paths? Agreed, simple enough. But... Q. Not to be a downer (nice pic btw), but is this system really doing anything besides letting you recycle your earlier purchases? If all the ingredients and upgrades can be purchased with just money, than ultimately the final item costs nothing but the sum of the ingredients. Yes, you can choose upgrade paths, but really you're just making a larger variety of items (even if some of the items are just variations on a single item). It's when you start including unpurchasable factors (time, dro

Ouch. Not only do you appear to be using integrated graphics (as opposed to a dedicated video card), but according to ATI, you have the distinction of using the very first chipset that supported DirectX 9. It does however, claim to support DirectX 9c. Not to put too fine a point on it, but your hardware is showing its age, and likely far below the minimum spec for this game. Memory wise, hard to say. You might be okay now, although your pagefile was definitely getting more than 512MB

Well, you've got the latest drivers for your card now, and if the card's been stable elsewhere, nothing else is jumping out at me. Make sure IM isn't set to interrupt you with notifications, I think there have been a few other reports of it screwing with this game. OT: Overclocking is a bit of a can of worms, and there's a bit of a learning curve if you want to do it safely. Opinions will differ, but one of the best programs out there right is a program called Rivatuner. It's a little
