Only recently started playing the game so not sure if I'm missing this somewhere. Does the game have something akin to a death match? I sometimes feel a little impatient to research all the techs to get to the top of the tech tree.
Is there a demo for this game? If there is, where can I get it? I can't seem to find one on this site
Are the hardware requirements for DA and TA significantly different (higher) than for DL?
I take the 30% econ, +1 speed, and spend the remaining point on pop. growth - has worked great for me
Just a minor quibble - Is there any way to increase the maximum number of characters for the title of a ship? I find I'm often stopped short when the name that I assign gets 'too long'.
In which countries are DL / DA available in retail stores? Will the game be shipped to me regardless of in which country I live?

I currently have the demo of DL, which I downloaded from this website a couple of months back. I wanted to know if it would be possible to continue the games which I have saved in the demo, when I buy the full version of the game
