Personaly im sick and tired of graphics being #1 in a make for a game. I play for the gameplay not pretty backgrounds that make my computer, xbox, ps lag to shit while I play. I don't believe any tech could match the advantage that hyper drive would give. Humans could colonize more then 3/4 of the galaxy before the other races get the other 1/4 of it. Also the campaign is a total pain in the ass the Dread Lords ships should have ZERO defenses.

hmmm, My video card is also a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500. But my screen don't start black during videos instead it will play for random time before freezing up but i can hit a key and it will skip the video and i can continue to play. I just figure it was my comp.
