Windowblinds skins not instaing on system when applyed in WindowBlinds Stardock Forums

just got window blinds 5.5 , I heard so many good things about it so I finally went out a ordered it and got it running on xp Pro SP2 with all the updates for XP , whenever i select a skin any skin it says it loads it but its still the same windows classic style with the same desktop pic as before anyone have any ideas what could be wrong or how to fix , I alreadly reinstalled and even did a clean install of it same problem tho , if anyone could help I would be really thankful Here
