Would you explain more on how to use large address aware and how to use it, and would it benefit us. If you are using it with success, I would like to know how to use it also. I just don't have any experience in doing so. Also, thanks for everything you have done with this mod. It is my favorite by far. Keep up the good work and anything you add to this mod is greatly appreciated.

More ominous news with the new DLC. I am really rooting for you guys so hang in there! This mod is awesome as I refuse to play vanilla Sins. Sad thing is my Steam account says I have only logged in 677 hours, all in Distant Stars of course! Doesn't seem that many hours as I get lost in Distant Stars and time has no meaning. Oh my gosh, where does the new update put the update for the mod? I hope everything is going well. I wish only the best for this mod cause this is my favorite game and mod.
There may be good news however. I read that a kickstarter has or may have been started to purchase the homeworld series and if all goes well they may even start a homeworld 3 project. Although I prefer distant stars, this would be fun.
I believe that most of the main modders may have moved on to other projects. Stant, who would have done a lot of the work, doesnt use steam. The last mod update was out a week when the main game updated and heartbreakingly mussed things up. My biggest fear is this mod is going to die a slow death. Also, they have lives outside of distant stars and have to use their time wisely. Maybe its time for a donate button button. Money can be a motivator. I would gladly donate.
To all the DS crew: I just wanted to say thank you for all the work you have put into this mod. I have been reading this thread for quite a while now and wanted to let you know there are a lot of us out here who play this and are looking forward to any improvements you make. I also could not wait for the Rebellion update. Even though there are a few problems I still love playing this. Its just not the same without Dist
