Inside EA games, which seem to be 60% ads. /Just kidding. I'd go for the Escapist with the Yahtzee phenomenon, or 1up.com since it's becoming the most credible game site very quickly.

I'm still figuring it out too, but Advent Disciples at least are awesome, even in endgame. They get Steal Antimatter and Transfer Antimatter, making them effective antimatter batteries for your capital ships. In a straight up fight in the endgame, you'll probably lose most of them, but it all works out. I fought a roughly equal AI fleet, with the exception of his advantage in capital ships-- he had 5, I had 3-- and I won, because of the Disciples. His capital ships couldn't do anything,
So a friend and I bought Sins, and we're trying to get an online game going. We can connect to ICO fine, but every time we try to join one another's game we get a long pause followed by a "Disconnected from host" error. What we've tried so far: - 6112 is open on both systems, on UDP and TCP - UPNP is up, as are both XP services required, on both machines - Neither of us has windows firewall up. Any thoughts? EDIT: He's on Vista; I'm on XP. We can both c

I've had far and away more issues with xfire than Steam. It's unfortunate that the overlay doesn't work, but that's no reason to install xfire. I still use Steam messenger, I just have to alt-tab to do it. Thankfully-- and there's no way I can thank IC and SD enough for this-- SSE alt-tabs VERY gracefully. XFire was great a couple years ago; but now it's significantly buggier and honestly not much thinner than Steam, at least in my experience. I know there's xfire fanatics out there; bu
Excellent. I can see an effective combo of Rapture, the carrier cap ship, carrier cruisers, and some illumination frigates to deal with flak frigates.
On the text for the ability "Concentration Aura" on the Rapture capital ship for the Advent, it says that it increases damage of fighters-- is this JUST fighters, or does it really mean strike craft including bombers? Increasing fighter damage doesn't seem that useful...
