duh, Britain and Germany will fight, France will whine and petition endlessly, get invaded, switch sides. America will then invade, re-take and re-switch France again, Britain which was originally losing will thank their lucky stars for us (again) and we will force the Germans back into submission sound accurate? Heh, doubt all of that. The EU will likely stick together, they're already pooling military resources bit by bit. I also doubt there

ask yourself really; who is the patriot act being directed against? I know it sucks for people of Islamic descent who are being needlessly targeted, racial profiling always sucks, but the Patriot act has really nothing to do with the precedent of infringing upon liberties. Exactly if your not breaking any laws you have nothing to fear from the patriot act. Its simple as that.
Probably 1 major side army addition per expansion I am guessing if this one is Britain + Canada.
But you cant go start downloading and playing today right? That's only if you use the Total Gaming Tokens option?
Ditto, every game I have seen also has the option. Although I have never seen it used.
I just noticed that a good deal of the graphics they have shown, althogh maybe they have missing media(?), is actually from older or other games, patched together.
Ah yes, I have been meaning to get to this post lol. Sorry but this is a very poor review, there are issues but these are not them. You should have played the game a bit more. == There's far to little you can do with your planets. True. == The galactic map is a mess. Path's make no sense and it's near impossible to get your barings, 2d would have been much better. Wrong. It's fairl
Has anyone tried the new 1.2.2.2 patch? It came out last month I think. I haven't played SOTS since February... Maybe I'll reinstall it. Great, from what I have experienced, I see they've pretty much recified everything and corrected the game balances, check the update lo
You never know what it'll be like... it's still too early to tell. It looks like an updated graphics engine atm, but we really dont know anything yet and I doubt Blizzard will make anything less than stellar.
Whilst I agree that better or more impressive would be cool, but would it improve game sales enough to justify the expense? On the contrary... And I haven't seen so much "I want better graphics" on a strategy game forum for a long time. This isn't your plain 2d map/3d object side-scrolling strategy game, with units running about a simple map... graphics will be an issue and a
It sounds pretty neat... but I dont know who would come give these bounty hunters anything It'd be a cold day in hell when I even paid a buck for that. But if it's worked before... I guess if there's some virtual charge or reward... still sounds neat.
I wouldn't mind something fresh. My BA was in history... I know a little about everything lol, for me history and mythology is so... passe
I also don't see why you would want this changed. It needs to be equalized for players of the same faction, different factions is another matter. It's nice when different factions have different requirements for gameplay. But changing the starting planet within a faction with the same requirements... I dont really know why that would be desireable .
Maybe they just changed their nature to see how it affects gameplay.
They have been working on it for well over a year from I understand. The public announcement is merely a step along the development process. Oh I know... I meant that I was surprised they kept it secret for this far into the development. But Blizzard is always 'plagued' by high attention so any kind of early hypothetical release date, that ends up being a delay, always has some fallout heh. I'm not surprised t
i cant believe they're this far along already with it just announced... some tight liped employees.
The screenshots do not look very impressive -- but I have faith in Blizzard. I am also glad to see them this far along already.
Sweet Jesus...
Any chance there will be some more lore anytime soon? It's kind of sparse and I really enjoyed reading what is available.
From what's available, it looks like vaporware.
I love SOTS, moreso than Galciv2. The battles are an element of this. If you think they're shallow, then you really didnt play enough or get up the tech tree. I wish it had more empire-building features also, but it just simply isnt and wasnt designed to be that type of game. However(!), I am glad they listened to the fans, who vastly wanted a more empire-building 4x style to it, and are adding it with the expansion. A terrific game that came out of no where. The 3D map is actuall
for custom games i agree An option for this should be made available, before the game starts, on lan or online Also in agreement. It's really a valid option for any gametype, as long as there are no benefits to pausing (command queuing, or even moving about the map). If it is paused, the game freezes essentially without any clickable features except unpause. It'd be a nice thing to have.
I dont think anyone believes the graphics to be poor. They, including me, are just hoping for a wider margin at the top for us who can do more. More and more games are doing this and I don't think it has anything to do with Crysis. Crysis is one of those games where Schem's fears are quite valid -- you literally need to have a PC that's considerably less than a year just to get it to play at a normal level. Expandability at the top though also ensures longevity. This is a concern f
I currently like the marza, my only demand would be that the barrel rotate after every round fired (come on, it would be an amazing aesthetic touch, and its one ship so it cant be that taxing ) Or what about some Supreme Commander touches, like each gun firing indepedently at targe
haha Multi you are being ANAL They look fine the way they are... The word ANAL i think means unique
