Do ships have a hidden upkeep cost? I assume they do because researching fleet capacity says something about increasing upkeep percents the more fleet capacity you have. If they do have upkeep is there anyway to give upkeep costs to structures as well?
Is there anyway to severe the connection between stars? I want to add phase lanes between planets at different stars and have those be the only connection. edit: Nevermind, I will just have phase lanes going from the sun to the planet i want the in route (from another star sytem) to.

I bought entrenchment and downloaded this. When I first saw the Omega in action I almost cried. I have waited my whole life to see an Earth Force ship in a game. One thing about the Omega, if nobody has noticed, if you look at it whilke facing the local star the rotating section seems to glow and the rest of the ship is unchanged. One question/concern.
