If no one can present a solution then could someone at least tell me the directory where the gadgets are meant to be installed to as it seems I have two vista sidebar applications, one in C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar and one in C:\Program Files(x86)\Windows Sidebar. I've tried associating the .gadget files to both sidebar.exe files in them but both with the same results. I've also noticed that both installations of the sidebar only have the default gadgets in them and not the ones I installe

I have downloaded and isntalled a few sidebar gadgets in the past, but now, it will not let me install any new ones. The problem started out when vista didn't recognise the .gadget file. So I serached around a bit to try and find a solution. There was another thread I found (not on here) where someone was having the same problem but never found a solution. I've assosciated the .gadget files to the windows sidebar application but still nothing. I tried make the file a .zip file and unpacking the

I've already said that I have the latest video drivers but I'll try the codec. *Edit* Nope, nothing, tried it before and after restart. I have a feeling that the application itself is a little messed up because when you select a dream it gives you the option to adjust performance settings and with a dynamic dream adjust the dynamic dream settings. It gives me those options but they disappear after anything between 0.5 and 2 seconds (approx.).

Deskscapes problem in Stardock Support General WinCustomize Forums

Hi all, I've had numerous problems with Deskscpes. Most of them I've been able to fix myself but this one is really annoying. It now no longer plays ANY dream I download. When I select a dream to play, I get the ususal spike in cop usage (this happened before when it did work as it was applying the dream but went back to normal afterwards) but it doesn't play the dream. I've tried restarting after installation/updating, restarting after applying a dream and updating my video drivers. Nothing has

I have the same problem. Thing is, It worked when using the 1.90 b 0.023 version, but then I saw an upate and though hmm, wander what this'll do, so I updated and now it says I need vista ultimate to use it. What's going on??? Oh and by the way, I'm using home premium as well.
