I find this happening a few times myself, if you play with your view angle you should be able to see everything.

I am sure that after the game is released and the devs get a bit of a break that they will release a patch to take care of some of these issues.
This is Great! Only I just found out now.
It sounds like something I was going to ask for. Cool!
Blair, I like the insight into how the bugs are worked out. Cheers.
I have had a problem with the sound doing that when I zoom in to watch a battle, started in beta2. My solution was to turn off hardware acceleration, when beta3 came out I was able to turn it back on but after the last patch I had to turn it off again.
I think Pirates should be like they were in beta 2, the only reason that didn't work at the time is that culture was not working at the time. Right now neither the Pirates or the AI are a threat.
I think this function is already there, I hit a couple of keys by mistake and bang game gone, desktop. Just don't know what keys I hit. LOL!
I max out 2000 every game I want more!
Make sure the box at the bottom is checked, for show pre release versions. Cheers.
I think the Pirates are too weak and should NOT have a planet, too easy to get rid of them!
A couple things I found with the new patch, About 5 crashes with the message a device attached to this computer is not functioning and 0 byte dump files to go with them. On a large map with 5 stars there is one star system on one end were not matter were I click planet, star anything I am unable to pan the camera. Works fine in every other system. Cheers.
More than one broadcast center does help produce more culture, but it seems to be different on different planets. I can get .4 culture rate on an asteroid with thee broadcast centers and only .2 on a terran planet with 5.
You can colonize a planet that has another culture line close to it, it does not have to be your culture. You just have to pick your spots.
Yes, those locations are now required by Microsoft and won't be changing. Most, if not all, future PC games will be storing their saves in the same place. That sucks I don't like to save anything to my C: drive. Much easier to keep that way.
I have done that quite a bit and never had a problem.
Thanks Yarlen, I have Ironclad looking into it. Cheers.
Thanks Blair! Done.
Yes the saves are from the current patch, they are from my last game that I just want to continue. I have sent the dump file and a description to Ironclad last week, have not heard back yet.
I was a good way through my second game with the latest patch, enjojing the game a lot when I found I could not load a saved game. I finally found that I could load one about 15 saves from the last, played till I was about were I was and now cannot load saves again. I really want to finish this game. Edit: It crashes as soon as I try and load a saved game.
I am a good way into my second game with the latest patch, and now find that I can not load any saved games. Crashes every time.
I've stopped using phase inhibitors as in my current game most of the pirates are after the AI players and just passing through.
I think that now that culture is working, maybe the pirates should go back to the way they were before the patch. They are not doing much now.
