Hmm, it does not work. I remember I have downloaded it from somewhere before.

The whole X-series is definitely worth of playing. I spent half of the last night by organizing my trade ships between Argon Prime and Queen's space. O my God! Those Boron trade ships are so huge!
On one computer it was OK in my case, however my second computer had problems with Galactic civilisation II. I had to clear temporary file directory and Impulse worked fine again. There may be a problem after bad download being stored in the computer. I guess Impulse use the bad one from temp instead of the new attempt to download.
I am having a problem with organizing the main window. I would like to have only few planets there (production ones and some border planets) and fleets. At this moment I have too much objects on the screen. There is a "pin mechanism" in the game, however I was unable to figure, how does it work. Can anyone explain it to me, please?
The new underground window is the great addition to the user interface. Good job!
No doubt. I'll likely hang with Vista64 if they dont remove the DRM crap to be honest. Vista has that same DRM so does it really matter?
I agree. I don't know the number of allowed activations of Windows, but I had never any problem with it. If the number is reasonable, I can live with it. However below 10 it may have been a problem.
I am in the camp of people that believe software should be just like books. I can let my friend borrow my book and read it, but I can't copy it and give it away or sell it, but I can sell the original to somebody else if I no longer want it. Why shouldn't software be the same way?
The reason has already been told: transfering the game does not bring any profit to the company. There may be this possibility, but it would require chan
The splitting of the fleet: I think it was mentioned somewhere. It is a feature. The fleet is considered to be complete, when some exact part of the fleet is ready. It is useful, when you move large fleets. Otherwise the all the ships would have waited for single frigate.
I agree. Random is random. It is fair. You can also have the better starting position, if you are lucky.
Well, and I downloaded MyColors setup, but it does not working. Details above.
No, firewall shall not be the problem. I allowed the connection. When the progress of download reaches 100%, mycolors window disappears. I looked at windows themes, but i found only the standard Windows themes there.
I tried to install MyColors. It does nothing. It has asked me twice to confirm EULA and the target directory. After that it downloaded something from the web and that is all. No question about the serial number nor any change of the theme. The target directory does not exist. I only found this file c:\WINDOWS\Prefetch\MYCOLORS_SETUP.EXE-02D51EF5.pf . What shall I do? I am running WinXP.
I knew what happened and I looked at the firewall protocol. I found the connecting application there. But I solved the problem only in my computer. Not all players are programmers. I wrote this, because this is a bug and I think, that is shall be corrected in the game.
I had the same issue, but I know what happened to me. The firewall is blocking the communication. I wanted to try to connect. I knew, that firewall wants to confirm the connection in this case. But there is no way to confirm the dialogue, because the game is waiting to establish the connection and Alt-Tab, Ctrl-Esc etc. do not work. There should be a timeout in the game.
It would be probably better, if two players could manage the same empire. I saw this already in some game.
I already found the solution - refresh XML data in Options. I see the version 1.02.018 there and the download works.

I just bought Sins of the solar Empire. I ordered DVD collector edition. I see the game in my purchased games in SDC, but the displayed version is the last beta, instead of the erlease version of the game. If I try to install the Betaversion, the attempt fails. What can I do?
