You guys giving the advice, just stop. This guy is pretty much blind or mentally disabled. He's been given good advice from intelligent people and rejects it. He likes talking about reading comprehension. Hell you couldn't pass Kindergarten with your reading comprehension. You could have actually thought about the advice they gave you and utilized it. All you had to do was build a few carriers or javelis's to complement your fleet. Here is some of the advice:
Wow, you spamtarded

I think Vasari has the best fluid defense in the late game, since they have warp gates with the ability to hugely cut travel time between planets in large maps and summon ships, and they have a tech that lets them view any ship making a jump anywhere. All I usually do as Vasari is place a warp gate and a few hangers on my frontline planets and connect it with my major shipyards, or just RA till my fleet cap is up, and then scuttle all of the ships after the battle. I've played a battle (against
Something like the build your own ship from Galactic Civ, where you have an ala carte of parts to chose from and you create a cuztom ship. Maybe this could be used as a capital ship option?
If i remember correctly, the books pretty much laid out this hierarchy of Covenant weapons from most to least powerful: Energy Projector (some kind of laser on steroids), plasma torpedoes, and pulse lasers. It should all be in the first book, or halopedia. Also, i would think that the energy projector could be something like the railgun power of the Kol since book four states that it took massive amounts of the ship's energy to fire, as well as only used on the larger ship classes. I would think
Uh. Cortana would kick the asses of the devs with about 1 tenth of 1 percent of her processor power, and do that while hacking the Department of Defense because of the boredom.
Probably totally true. One problem with that SpardaSon, Cortana is a fictional character... Anyways, I think after Halo 1 many of her programming restraints were somewhat changed when she delved into the Halo system. Cortana also behaves much like a being we would consider sentien
U also missed tht UNSC ships hav nukes and mines along side their normal weapons... the ability to mine a place gives them stronger defence capability along side they hav orbital MAC... whereas the covenant only has their ships.... This wud make the battles more balanced.
I agree with gclark03, seeing as how the covenant have ships with the strength of the Vasari, and far greater numbers. Make the orbital MACs super gauss platforms and maybe give UNSC ships a
They should have a customizable ship feature, like galactic civ. They could give you a few basic hull classes, frigate destroyer, cruiser, etc. and go from there.
i guess this topic is pretty much dead isn't it?
Will there be customizable ships in Sins?
I've probably seen too much military sci-fi, but in many of them a boarding action during a battle could sometimes turn the entire tide of the battle. Most of you probably know about Homeworld 2 I'm guessing. Remember the Hiigaran Marine Frigates, or the Vaygr Infiltration Frigate? If you slipped those in in a heated battle carefully, you could even have a chance of capturing an enemy battlecruiser, usually that will totally change the outcome of the battle, even if you lost, the enemy
And maybe the insurgents could be the human rebels, the dudes that weren't with the UNSC or Covenant. Here's a link to some info on the human rebels WWW Link . Here are some other things I think could be in the mod : 1. Adding boarding options (if there isn't any already) to capture or sabatoge enemy ships. 2. Giving the Covenant a lower tech ceiling, since they're tech is mostly copied from the Froerunners and they probably don't
The mod, if it ever get's started, will probably last till Microsoft decides to make a space combat rts for halo and ends it.
I'm sure that there will eventually be a Halo mod, so i'm starting this thread to get some ideas. ex. the sides, ships, tech... p.s. sorry if someone else has already started a thread on this
