I want free cake and ice cream when I play, but it's not gonna happen... Yes my brain feels like oodles and boodles of poodles eating noodles! I actually agree with you, Sins needs a few more ships. Personally I think maybe an interceptor type frigate (high damage, fast speed, low range and armor) to attack close ships, and maybe destroyer types already mentioned, but I like faster ships better than slow behemoths.

I was in Boston too ironically on the... 23rd and 24th. I agree with you that everything there is RIDICULOUSLY expensive. However, they have Berkley and New England Conservatory, so I can't complain too much. I'm sorry about the loss of your Nieces babies. that must have really sucked.

Yeah... those were the good ol days... only about 30 people on the forums, space ponies... :d

Could you kindly put the files into a big zip file and host it somewhere (such as rapidshare) so I don't have to download every file separately? If you could that would be a HUGE help!
not sure harrison ford, is getting along now, personally if this is horrible then they really shouldn't bother, then again Hollywood is running out of film ideas, for crying out loud, EA sold the film rights of the Sims, the most senseless game ever, yet someone is making it into a movie, sorry I don't think much of the way things are going, Hollywood is getting more and more desperate on what films they are going to film about, personally I think I will give this one
anyways back to the thread.
Sausages taste like potatoes! I agree, with the superwepon thing... but then they would need to be buffed. Fleet limit should scale with map size, not just have a set cap for all maps. hmmm... I basically reiterated what everyone else already said.... oh well...

2000 ship cap is equivalent to either 40 Kol Battleships, 166ish Siege Frigates, 1000 scouts, 500(ish) kobalts. You can change the system files if you want to increase the cap.

Stop being mad that you just lost to AI! It happens to everyone. The great thing about Sins AI is that it's the only one that wins legitimately! God bless ya Devs, but don't become Blizzard and do nurf this nurf that buff this buff that to keep everyone the loudest group on the forums happy!

I'm pretty sure there is a scuttle button... No the "trade route" is not only by the first posts. The more posts you have, the more trading that happens, and the more income you get overall. Refineries let you get more recourses from asteroids... they're useful.

sins just started... give it a while... My [wc3] clan uses vent, but I doubt they'll like it if I want to start using it for SoaSE. Speaking of wc3, they just updated.
can I apologize for the evil alien entity forum (damn you jim, I didnt program you to be this evil!) and then blame the hypocrisy?
Except for us Beta players XD Anyways, I gotta agree with schod, being siege rushed in a map can be hard to counter, but it just depends on your play style. For example: if you like to expand REALLY quickly (fast colonization)then you'll spread out too quickly to effectively cover all
I ran into the same issue as the original poster. It's frustrating, and all this talk about how much siege frigates are setting back the empire that uses them to rush with, are frankly bull. What's 'bull' about it is that those siege frigates are not sacrificed in the strategy. Once they encounter something that can actually destroy them, they either flee or move onto the next planet and commence more bombing. They can keep wrecking up sh*t. I didn't

bombers win hardcore, they're great for taking out escaping ships, and when you have 10-11 drone frigates + 2-3 cap that makes for from 13 to... ummm.. alot... of bombers (times ten, so 130+) all hitting a single target. Trust me, the target dies. quickly.

totally. It's pretty easy to figure which one is the "I kill stuff lulz" ship and the "I support stuff" lulz ship. Anyways, how long do you think it would take a star destroyer to go down? It makes perfect sense. Also, when you have 30-40 LRM frigates things explode pretty quickly.
