Years ago I bought GC2 Gold and got the discs to go with it, etc. Obviously, that doesn't include ToA, and ToA seems to fix a lot of the things that irked me about DA. When I built my new computer, I went ahead and reinstalled GC2 off my Gold discs, and it seems to work fine playing DA. When I went to download ToA from Impulse, it told me it couldn't find DA. I used the Search for it on my Hard Drive option, and pointed it at my DA directory, and it recognized it, and told me I needed an upda

I realize this is bringing up an incredibly old thread, but I was reading it while stuck at work. My suggestion would be both a somewhat naturally slower tech rate, to encourage more time spent in the "mid"game, and various bonuses to be detailed below. While a Battleship can effectively target multiple smaller craft, one would assume it'd have a hard time hitting them all as they swarm in three dimensions around the entirety of the ship. For TBS, I've been playing GC2:DA. While I'm not terribly good at it (I end up getting bored with some of the micromanagement sometimes, and thus find a sub-optimal strategy I can stick too long term rather than swapping between multiple short term strategies), I find it incredibly fun.
