The Purpose when I was origionally writing was hard science. seems to have been tempoary. For a more accurate description, when I would boot up impulse, I would never get to the point where I saw the program itself. the window would just show what ever was on top of it. Impulse now lags to death when I start it. this first started the night I checked for the new sins patch, this is the only varible that has chsnged since then. has anyone else had this problem, have I misdiagnosed it, and is there a possible cure? when I tried to uninstall/reinstall, it said that my connection didnot exist as I type this. firewall was disabled for the duration of the install.

Patches like this are whay I make a point to buy stardock, and chastise pirates.

its encrypted. companies do this with mod riendly games as an intelligance test. if you can figure out how to decrypt it, you probably won't break your game irreparibly. there is a tool called ConvertData that will fix this. i think... to be honest, I failed the test too. you can get the tool at the downloads tab at the top of the screen. EDIT: if you download the mod tools, it comes with all the files decrypted. don't ask me how to re-crypt them though... they

I can't even figure out how to open them. I know the convert tool exists, but can't igure out how to use it. I also couldn't find a complete guide to use it. am I supposed to run it rom the cmd prompt?
