Ive modded many games before, most either arn't as modable as id like, or they require you to learn a very indepth scripting language, but seeing as how Sins has a very active modding community then maybe some of you can answer my questions. 1. Is their a limit to the amount a modder can add? (Structures, planets, ships, new races) I plan on adding 7 more races to the game, all of which unique 2. I know that the ai is still being developed, but is it possible for a modder

i dont play Vasari often but i do recall them having "Phase Gates", having those at the constantly attacked planets will help with moving the fleets, and if you had the tech that allows you to detect incoming enemy forces 2 jumps away, you could easly move the defence fleet in. Even better would to have the defence full of repair platforms, then your defence fleet would last twice as long.

you dont have to register to get the updates(and i can prove this easly), only if you want to get them from a reliable source, all the other places have good chances of containing virus.

they should add a slider that the host controls before the game starts, allowing him/her how big the local militia's are

how about this: Once a player looses all their colonies they are considered eliminated BUT they can continue to play with everything they have left, they may even recolonize a planet, but no matter what they do they are still eliminated as an empire so they dont need to be killed again for the last remaining team/player to win. This would allow the defeated player to continue playing, but they cant win (so either they play for fun or leave). Think of them as pirate bands

building on the idea Anomandaris Irake provided (based on Uzi's mod) based on the planetary bonuses would it be possible to add a fleet supply per planet (heard the beta had something like that) not as a bonus but an upgrade (like logistics and tactical)? if you needed it balanced then you could do something like this: Unupgraded - adds maybe 50 fleet supply Level 1 - adds 2x fleet supply but reduces income from planet by 33% Level 2 - adds 3x, but reduces income by 66% Leve

what they should really do is add an observer mode, and then players can allow certain observers control over certain things (units, buildings, planets, a designated fleet, research, etc), that way the main player could give one of his "Ministers" control over an assault fleet, while another is incharge of production and defence, and etc.

i have some questions on culture, 1. since culture spreads through phase lanes, does it also go through star to star phase lanes? 2. does it also spread through the Vasari's phase gates (dont care if thats what their called)?

Factors for pirating (Personal use/not selling) 1. Income - living costs(food, water, shelter, taxes, other) = spending money 2. game/software hype/usability + ratings and reviews + undecided about replay/useablitiy = Hype/usability factor 3. Legel policies (country + negative or nuetral) + Adrenaline/challenge factor (pirating) - Punishment = Legal factor (Teenagers and those expirancing a mid-life crisis will ignore punishment) 4. Time + Location = Local fac
