I had a similar problem. Try this hotfix: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=940105 Worked great for me and a couple other people on the forum. It has to do with how Windows allocates memory space and once you run out of space the game crashes. Edit: Beat'd, the link above is the same link I posted.
