the demo alone is a lot of fun way better when you play with ppl imho dont buy it if youll end up playing alone. The game is a lot of fun but playing a lone or with other people is not even close to as fun as playing with your friends

i dont think its always been republicans though they were responsible for the latest one. i just know for under 250,000 joint income its around 30-35% after that it goes to 20-25% with ways to get it down to 15%. not positive on the numbers but thats what ive heard so take these with a grain of salt

let me clarify my point with DRMs. currently the lighter DRMs are the norm however the more frustrating DRMs will become the norm if Stardock has a falling out. A smart company would use a stardock failure as a reason to create stricter DRMs, which in turn would make gamers much more frustrated posibly turning them to pirating games because without the DRMs the games are much easier to use. ah yes the HW manual it really did make the game that much better. Just reading the page long descriptions of the ships haha those were fun. The story did read like a book which is how I think most RTS and RPGs should be, plus HW had fantastic gameplay. HW is one of my all time favorite games so I may be a little biased lol.

honestly upgrading armor shields and hull are all early mid game decisions that can make or break but its all situational. somtimes when you can't expand anymore and don't want to break ur bank for more supply upgrading CAN offer a decent push however the overall effectivness is kinda lacking IMO. but thats just me. idk frigs are easily replaced and much easier to split up. rather then having a limited number of caps besides TEC is all about the econ and production.

I agree with annatar11 but honestly I hate RTS storylines they are for w/e reason boreing to me cept for homeworld. not to say that SoaSE wouldnt have a great campaign I'm just saying I ussually just skip Campaign's all together and just skirmish

yes there is somthing oddly addictive about the game let alone the modding and constant patches to ensure a GREAT game. There needs to be more games like sins that actually have a supportive and usefull gaming community. Which is one of the reasons I still play it

Cielos don't feel very usefull to me. I have used them once and a while but they only seem to help slightly. are there any good strategys for cielos

hehe well homeworld was based off of battlestar galactica and sins is inspired by homeworld so yes in a way it is both sins and homeworld have nicly unique experiences believe it or not I still play the first homeworld. if anyone else still plays it please speak up im bored of playing against/with my little brother hahah

meh idk i think the riddler would work he doesnt really need to threaten the city publicly like the joker did because now batmans public enemy number 1. so riddler would just set batman up in situations where he looks like the bad guy more and more. the scarcrow would be usefull in drugging up cops making them skitish to the point where they would exagerate what batman did. and all the while riddler is moving the pieces in the backround idk it works for me

alright first off I doubt two faced is dead I have a feeling that nolan was going to have him die and just make the joker team up with anouther villain. however in the wake of ledgers death he cut the two faced dying part from the movie IMO my feeling is two faced will return with riddler OR two faced is dead and the scarecrow teams up with the riddler it's been said before the riddler never seems to work alone. P.S did everyone like scarecrows 30 second cameo

dieinafire is right about the cost. but to me TEC shine with tradeports often times I'll dedicate an entire planet to them espicialy desert and then just have one on every other planet the income is incredibly high. thats one thing the game does very well, tradeports.

yea i thought i might have been my memory at first but it doesnt get above 75% usage I have 2 gigs of ram. I manaually end all tasks before starting any game (through the task manager) aside from the needed ones. all other games seem to work fine no matter how long I play cept sins. I have call of duty 4 and MTW 2. im back to thinking its a vista issue. I haven't played a game in a while and keep task manager open looking for random programs that might be running. Thats when I noticed

yea ive messed around in the task manager a lot to keep vista at bay. all around I think vista might be to smart (or stupid) for its own good like fouraces said even when u disable sumthing it secretly runs it. grrr anyway back to the problem Ive tried all that and now the game runs for around 2-2 1/2 hours then like on cue crashes. this wouldn't seem like a big deal but even when I have a saved game that I played for an hour. I load it up fine but then an hour later it crashes. <br
