Looking as awesome as ever, Mansh00ter. Is it being made for Diplomacy or just Entrenchment these days?

Dune 2 on my Dad's Acorn computer, when I was around 2 (1993- Seriously, I gamed when I was 2 :P)
You're forgetting that the impact and blast energy would be transmitted as shockwaves through the body of galactica herself, causing stresses throughout the ship's superstructure but particularly around the impact site. My guess is all the ordinance she took is one of the main reasons she was in such a bad state in Season 4
April's Fool, I believe.
Manshooter, I'd disagree with somewhat on your assessment of Turrets - They shouldn't be useless against the lighter frigates at all, less effective, but should still be capable of taking them down. A fully upgraded TEC Gauss Emplacement (Swarm Missiles and Meson Bolt, plus the capacitor upgrades and so on) should be fairly capable against everything, it just needs a greater turn rate. The point of defence emplacements is that you leave them behind at your worlds to defend your empire on it's
Pretty please, I'd also muchly appreciate that :)
The idea is that expansion is slow, I'm playing a large random map that has three star systems in it, and I haven't left my own system in five to six hours of gameplay, I'm just slowly teching up and pushing against the three AIs stuck in here with me. It takes a while, but getting Fire and Ice colonoisation before anyone else can help you in the early hours of the game.
Well, my Sins is within my Stardock Account, but there is no sign of my CD Key (No email, just turned on Stardock Central and found Sins under purchased software)
Except having your people die to enemy action wouldn't make them defect, more likely than not it'd only harden that people's resolve to destroy their enemies. Like in besieged castles back in the day, if things were getting desperate within the keep, Women and children would lend a hand on the walls.
People, calm down. I'm sure you have other things that you could be doing to pass the time, that's what I'm doing. The Ironclad team is working as best it can, and it's not the projected time of 8PM EST (Nearly GMT, but.. *shrug*) just calm down and let them work. Now that I've said that, back to Stalker SHOC.
Meaning 0100 tuesday GMT. Or 0200 tuesday CET.
Crap, I have a biology exam tomorrow as well >.<
Probably for me some of the halo covenant ship names they sound really cool and powerful...some one should definitely try to make a halo mod for this that would be awesome.. Incorruptible Truth and Reconciliation Shadow of Intent Sublime Transcendence
Probably bett
Problem is, we are going to exhaust at least some of Earth's resources (Metals and the like) at some point, and at that point we'll have to look elsewhere, and like hunter-gatherers following their herds, we'll likely follow the money, so to speak. However, I'd be intrigued to learn the answers to the OP's questions.
Ah, forgive me, I'm not a beta tester, I was not aware of that.
And that game is 5 years old
Doesn't that sort of answer your own statement? That game IS five years old, you're completely right. Less Graphically demanding, Less demanding on the CPU (It's AI is nowhere near as good as SOASE' by all accounts) To keep all the features we know and love about Sins, animated turrets are going to have to be sacrificed as they'd add extra strain on GPU (Rendering) and CPU (Computations)
If you look at it that way, their seems to be a lack of toxic atmosphere planets, gas giants, Hot Jupiters (Personally think these would make awesome systems seperated from a sun by a single phase line), heavy gravity environments, etcetera (Can you tell I'm a GalCiv2 player?)
I'd like to see so-called "megaships", but not as Planet-killers. I'd rather conquer a planet than blow it up.
Yep, I realised it was a necro once I'd posted.... *Whistles innocently, walks around a corner and legs it*
I don't see any of your theories about the Vasari Cataclysm resulting in the only Vasari crew to return after making contact with their doom (And supposedly their ship was battle scarred at that) being absolutely crazy unless we follow the Alien/Maligant Entity (Not Computer Virus) path. And the fact that it's stated that the Vasari are always no more than a generation ahead, makes it sound to me as if they only start running once their outlying probes start dying again. Hence why the TEC and Ad
But then you'd have Moons in places miles from the planets they would be circling and thus technically not really moons any more, but rather Planetoids or in extreme cases, planets. This idea gets my vote, Moons are an important aspect of any solar system, and could easily serve as anything from firebases, to fleet shipyards, to research bases, to extra colony space.
