you should be able to back up the install files for SINS to CD just like you would back up any other data to CD. There is no copy protection in SINS. (The reason can be found [link="http://blogs.ign.com/Stardock_Games/2008/01/29/78711/"]HERE[/link].) As long as you have the serial, your copy is as valid as the bought from the store.
