Seconding the stickying...this is an important thread. That being said, been playing the game in cloth map mode with no issues to speak of (a few glitches here and there, but nothing gamebreaking). Its a shame this issue is keeping us away from witnessing the true beauty of this game. Heres to hoping for a patch on Monday... ;) Also, bump!

Just throwing mine out there. Should be able to run this game like a dream. Like many of the users, can run Crysis tweaked out with about 30fps steady and pretty much everything else in the 60+ fps range. Also, have had no problems with any Stardock games in the past...always been able to run maxed out with no slowdown on this machine. OS Name Microsoft® Windows Vista™ Home Premium Version 6.0.60
Look at the credits for Ironclad- (in the manual) only about 7 people in the company. And after 4 years of development they had to release a product. Especially since it's their first product and they have no financial capital built up from previous projects. Because the models have 'turrets' in their design, I suspect Ironclad wanted to have moving turrets. But due to time constraints and budgetary reasons they had to leave it out of release. For those who say moving turrets will dro
I second this.
I actually thought of this the first day I played Sins (release day :D ) There certainly are enough ships for a mod, and it would be visually interesting given the huge variety of designs in SC. And a Spathi ship lauching Backward Utilized Tracking Torpedoes (B.U.T.T.) would make my year.
Vasari use Beams, which is wierd since Advent are obviously the Beam Weaponry Masters. It looks like they ran out of time to think of a 3rd variant of bombardement.
I agree. I would like to see an alternate form of bombardment for the advent (esp since they are my fav). Maybe have the advent use beams, then have the Vasari send in dropships...to fit thier "subjagation" theme.
I agree with your choices (although the drone ship model is impressive...it just doesn't scream "carrier") The Kodiak is the biggest offender, it looks like it was, in concept, a tank, then a dropship, then a cruiser. Actually, most of the "human" ships could use a remodel. They seem to lack a specific art direction, instead looking like a hodgepodge of different ideas. Although, for me, all would be forgiven if they would just animate the turrets...Homeworld 1 di
