Partly it's Impulse's fault and partly it isn't. The obvious thing to do would have been to have Entrenchment in it's own little folder with it's own files to play with instead of shoving it together with Vanilla Sins. IronClad needs to look at how Galciv was done with each addon having it's own seperate folder whilst using the vanilla games assets when it needed to.

I've never liked Impulse or the old SDC because at one time or another they horribly cockup. This is one of those cases. I've done a fresh install of Sins + Entrenchment. I archived Sins before installing Entrenchment. Now I can play the game just fine that's not a problem. However I cannot archive Entrenchment (Impulse just sits around doing nothing and right clicking I can cancel some invisible installation). Try to uninstall Entrenchment and I get the same XML error.
