I had the same problem. I had a bunch of ships grouped (using ctrl-1), and one of my cap ships wasn't doing so hot so I made it jump to another system while the rest of my fleet took care of business. After the cap ship got to the next planet, I accidentally hit "1" and made my fleet (including my cap ship that had previously jumped) attack a certain target. The aforementioned cap ship proceeded to turn around and use its normal engine speed to cross the distance between the planets a

What does fixed internally mean? Just curious...like fixed by next patch? I had the same problem too. Star systems seem to overlap making one seem like it's more pronounced and one look dimmer as if it were in the background. Problem occurred on the huge-random.
Why would you post this on a forum, I mean, its like saying "Look, I'm retarded, throw stuff at me".
LoL, funny but true.

is the hotfix available on stardock? also, when I uninstall everything, do i just click on the game again on stardock and it will do everything for me again like it did before?

I have been noticing this a lot too, usually with my larger fleets. It looks like someone takes the enemy ship and drags it a certain distance away from your fleet and then your fleet chases after it. It has happened to me on a small random map and one of the larger "themed" maps.

I updated from beta 3. Should I completely re-install? "Particle Simulation Definition not found: SupportBuff_WeaponJam" It also does a similar error when I mouse over the target of the Vulkoras' Disentigration ability.

It isn't just the Antorak...I just played another game where I didn't build any of the Antorak's and it still did it. Seems like it would be a cap ship, but it might be one of the frigates or something too...

Looks as if it works, but any time I mouse over the enemy ship affected by the jammer, the game produces an error like the planet allegiance string error.

Maybe the Devs don't have this part of the game in place yet and have made it this way because of that, but in the Vasari empire research tree, the Improved Salvage ---> Wreckage-Auto Salvage seems to be bugged. The Wreckage-Auto Salvage requires 2 points in Imp. Salv. and Imp. Salv. only allows you to put one point into it making Wreck. Salv. unattainable! Also, on an unrelated topic. The whole penalization for new planets is an interesting new game dynamic, but it would be nice

Failed to find StringID: 'IDS_PLANETDETAILSINFOCARD_ALLEGIANCEDETAILS_DELTAFROMCULTURE'. NOTE: Any following StringID failures will be supressed. This is the error that I receive. Luckily I can still play the game!

Cool beans. I was wondering if it would stay in the game. My Vasari fleet would be literally untouchable!

13 Replies 5,319 Views

So, I played a single player game as the Vasari and it was awesome. I tried to get a feel for all of the cap ships. They were all cool especially the last one I tried...the Antorak (harassment cap. ship). It had the amazing ability to fling enemy cap. ships about a distance between planets away from it's current position repeatedly. An amazing ability that I think may be a bug. Scenario: My fleet phases into a enemy planets gravity well. I have 3 cap. ships including my Antorak

I got the same thing too. I wasn't sure what caused it, but afterwards, on certain planets, below the percentage loyalty based on how far away the planet is, I get the "String not found" message.

So, when you click on a Vasari Bomber squadron, they still have the human voices. Just thought I'd bring it up.

So, I was wondering what the little red dot with a while circle around it is for when you zoom in on a ship? It hovers above the ship and moves in a weird little pattern like it's floating like a balloon.

I was just wondering what exactly Minidumps do? I mean my game will crash, a minidump message will come up and that's the end of that. What kind of info does it send and is there anything I can do to further help out the devs? It seems almost too easy too me. I dunno. Great game so far tho! P.S. I usually get minidumps while playing large maps often returning to the saved game or randomly while looking at a lot of planets.

All very good ideas I think. I also think that mid-game is where it shines and your ideas for the different game types (timers and such, maybe a King of the Hill sort of game) would work great for additional options to multiplayer. I mean not everybody wants to spend 1-2 hours to just totally destroy an enemy.

It also isn't just about numbers and getting them to a specific location as quickly as possible. You can beef up your research tree giving your ships more power, take strategic planets to gain a trade advantage, choose to go defense heavy or offense heavy (either way has it's pros/cons), or a host of other strategic options. It's very much strategic game and it's not all fighting, there is so much more to the game.
