the answer is obvious, ASAP as long as its not interfering with your other research.
If you reasearch this tech in the beginning of the game with one planet, one crystal asteroid, and two metal asteroids, you ARE NOT progressing optimally. Anybody knows in an RTS, resource managment early game is very important. Thats like queueing up 10 frigs as soon as the game starts. The money you spent on the 4th and 5th frig has NOT EVEN STARTED to materialize, when you could have

From The Sins FAQ: Q. What do you mean by anonymous matchmaking? A. When you choose to search for a game in this format, Ironclad Online will examine the poll of other searching players and attempt to place you into a game of your selected type against an opponent or opponents of relatively equal skill. Games played in such a manner will count towards your standing on that format's competitive ladder. No need for myleague.
As noted by others, if it wont work here, try logging in at forums.stardock.com or forums.wincustomize.com and give it a try there (odd but it sometimes works). Like I said, I've already tried that.....no joy!
Yep tryed that.
I have the same problem. I gave up trying.
Oh, nevermind then. No cheese here.
I had no idea the whale-ship was that good. I smell cheese.
I was doing some tests on the Vasari Cap ships and while the Kortal's (Kol analogue) average damage adds up to 81, The Vulkoras, (Marza analogue) who's average damage adds up to 63, continually destroyed the same ships faster. I also tested each ship with and without special abilities, and the Vulkoras still won. Neither ship has any special abilities that would cause me to choose one over the other, so for now, I say Vulkoras ftw.
I will be polishing my skillz and handing out ass-whoopinz on release day.
I'm confused about buying with tokens and getting in the Beta. I thought the beta had closed. I've got several friends who might have gone ahead and bought it if they could get in.
I was confused too. I bought the game with tokens only 2 days ago and was able to download and play immediately. Why are you still reading this!? Go download the game!
what would be cool? released "events" much like in an MMO, only of course it would be individuals instead of groups (Lans maybe...)
Huh?
um... its part of the storyline! <IMG id=ImageResize_Image_2 src="http://images.stardock.com/smiles/Laugh.gif" onload=ImageResizer.createOn(this); align=absMiddle border=0 tries="1"
wait, whut? we already knew this!
Doh! It's news to me! P.S. Am I K1nes1s or Micaletti? The forum cant seem to decide...
Upon closer investigation of the two page spread in PC Gamer, I found some interesting tidbits:
Micaletti, 0-Gravity does not nullify inertia. Your breath, no matter how bad it may be, will never move a 20-pound missile without some sort of mechanical advantage, be it pistons or leverage.
I dunno man, my breath is pretty rank... Forward motion will not nullify a sidward force. Sorry man, I pictured a missile with an array of thrusters duct-taped to the end of poles and thought it quite silly.
Nonetheless, in space some sort of protrusion from the missile body would still probably be desirable for maneuvering thrusters, to generate additional leverage from minimal thrust.
You dont need any leverage in 0 gravity... You could blow on the missile and cause it to change direction. Vasari: "Why are the maneuvering thrusters on your warheads attached to the end of poles?" TEC: "For leverage foo!" Vasari: :NOTSURE:
Wtf do you mean by [kol analogue]?
Congratulations Ironclad on your first title. It's amazing. I just finished my second single player game, and all I can say is wow. The Vasari graphics are amazing. I dont have a clue what the few complainers are talking about. I sat there and giggled to myself as I spun the models in 3D, watching them glisten in the starlight. The battles are epic and the game play is awesome. IMO multiplayer is where this game is really going to shine. Ironclad is definitely a company to watc
I just bought the game and went through the tutorials. I loged on to Ironclad Online Lobby and wound up in the "default" room with two other players? Is this where I need to be to find a multiplayer game? Is there some other channel I should be in? Thanks
