A couple of odd behaviors: 1) I think this is a known issue: if you have a saved ship you designed with more equipment attached to it than your current hull mass would allow, you can build the ship anyway in a new game. 2) If you make older, game-generated ship models obsolete, then "Ship Graveyard" anomalies that should have ships will be empty. 3) I designed an early-game survey replacement vessel for exploring Ship Graveyards, and used Duratanium and Thulium in its

In previous betas, even on very large and crowded galaxies my performance has been incredibly smooth. 6.2 has been a great step backward; FPS has dropped when fully zoomed out, time between turns has increased (and there have been some "Wait" hangs that never ended), and the overall experience has been diminished. System specs: i7 4930k, 4.1ghz 64GB DDR3 Geforce 770 GTX 4GB Dunno if the memory leak fixes might have gone hinky, but whatever it is,
This is a problem that's been plaguing me for a number of beta iterations: the sound is still dropping out. In Beta 5, even re-loading wouldn't restore sound. At least in Beta 6 you can exit GCIII entirely and reload; that'll bring sound back, but only for a little while. Then it drops out again. Curiously, the ambient "galaxy" sounds remain, the subtle hiss/background noise of space ... but UI noises and battle sounds are all gone. Anyone else gettin
Well, looks like we got a new one . . . playing on a large galaxy, I was in the midst of a game without any wars going on. The "disappearing turn button" issue popped up, so I saved and exited, then loaded the game again. The turn button had reappeared, but now pressing it does nothing . . . the turn no longer advances. Anyone else experienced this? Any clues on a cause?
So after playing around with the latest beta, it seems like the nasty ol' disappearing turn button bug has gone, but I've only gone through one new game so far. Can anyone else confirm that they got this one licked?
