cadcmcr you should donate the $250 to Ironclad first, that will motivate them to do this or maybe 125 before and 125 after?
see, these guys are total douchebags. (see above)"perhaps excel can help with that""in conclusion, fartz"...in conclusion, join magog
perhaps you should brush up on your military history??? today the proud and outstanding officers [WANG]BlackCop and [WANG]WhiteCop found themselves in the middle of a domestic disturbane between Xeroes and OverlordSigurd these fine gentleman chose to fight the law([WANG]) the law won glad to be of service genetlemens, for future reference here is a tidbit of advice directly from our service and new officer primer:
Military tactics are like unto water;
okay sorry about that, i was just having a lil joke lol i dunno what you did wrong because according to the officer's primer handbook which i am reading right now it says:
Superiority of numbers admittedly is the most important factor in the outcome of an engagement... It thus follows that as many troops as possible should be brought into the engagement at the decisive point... This is the first principle of strategy. -[b]Clausewitz, On War[b]
so i g
it's not very nice to make you think you're a better player than you actually are furthermore, in fact i would go so far as to say that only enemies let you think you're a good player when you are actually a bad player, so they have an easier time fighting you in conclusion, ~*fartz*~
No I can read but I just don't like you guys
thanks for this pressing update
[b]NOT TO CUT, BUT TO THRUST WITH THE SWORD[b] One must not cut but thrust with their swords. For the Romans not only made a jest of those who fought with the edge of that weapon, but always found them an easy conquest. A stroke with the edges, though made with ever so much force, seldom kills, as the vital parts of the body are defended both by the bones and armor. On the contrary, a stab, though it penetrates but two inches, is generally fatal. Besides in the attitude of striking, it
Wow you guys are jerks
actually we're nice guys, learn to read sheesh
what's a [WANG] got to do to get recognized around here?
edit: whoops rong thed lol
The thing is, to be extra friendly, you must first cut down the Buddha on the path to true friendship. Remember, the best kind of boat to be in is not a friendship, but Compton, CA. -Much Love, [WANG]WhiteCop
i've never had a game last over two hours.
Because fighters deal anti-light damage. Anti-light damage is weak against medium armor, the armor of cobalts.
ah, yes... the proven strategy of theorycrafting
are you around?
have you considered using fighters instead of bombers against cobalts seeing as how fighters are anti-frigates and cobalts are frigates, which as you'll notice is not a cruiser or capital or structure cruisers, capitals, and structures are what bombers are good against
Someone has yet to justify the benefits of buying a population cap ASAP to me.
It's only one more military lab. The thing is, I don't see people getting some flak to hold off LRMs and then moving up to carriers. They're getting flak and staying with flak, and then wonder why it's not working.
What are you building, 5 seconds into the game, that you need 200 more crystals than you start with? Obviously, I'm not contesting the idea of spending money to buy crystal if you have extra cash or metals laying around. I'm specifically contesting [link="https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/post.aspx?postid=303701"]HunterX[/link]'s idea that you need 200 crystal and a population cap upgrade right at the start of the game.
Mind you, this was tested on an all-'fast' game.
Thus, flaks, while not a hard counter to LRMs
See, this is the point I'm making. People are complaining that flaks aren't chopping up armies of LRMs like a hot knife through butter, and that's because they're not supposed to.
You are losing out on at least 600 cash just for the crystals. Most likely you'll be paying more, since crystal starts at 400 and drops, unless other people are buying crystal, in which case the price skyrockets. So let's say 700, for two buys of Crystal at 350 each, since that's about what I got when I tested with TEC in single-player. Okay, so you're down 700 cash, but at least you've got 200 crystal. Now you build that population cap increase, which costs another 750 cash and 22
No I'm pretty sure LRMs pop like paper once you stop trying to counter them with flask frigates. edit: best typo
Where are people getting the idea that flaks are the counter to LRMs? Flak counters fighters, fighters counter LRMs.
Misterunderhill, tell me more about your changes and how you've changed things for the betterment of all players. Yes, do go on and inform me of the obvious mistakes that Ironclad has made, and how you have fixed these.
