The game is more focused on war than diplomacy or spying. Given, diplomacy is integrated, but not as much as a 4x game. This is truly an RTS with 4x elements, not reverse or combined. Elements from 4x games are in, but RTS wars are the main attraction. Hope this helped, or shed a bit of light. :D Oh, and you can't do any of that stuff. It's basically only treaties and the we-won't-kill-each-other agreement. There is the option to ping and they are supposed to bring a flee

Well, demo wouldn't work for me. But... I HAVE THE GAME! :D Must say, it is truly an addictive masterpiece. I do keep getting thrashed by 3 easy comps, but I will learn. The game is fun, awesome, and... fun. And awesome. Did I mention fun? What about awesome? Must say, truly a great game. GOOD ONE! :)

Hello. I have been trying to get the civilian tree achievements, and I have had some trouble. I completed an Advent game using all civilian technology, while using none of the military. I had used all the logistics and fleet upgrades. Would that make any difference to getting the achievement? As an afterthought... SPACE PONIES! Um... what?

I downloaded it (4 hours 30 mins (:( ) from Gamers hell east coast, and it wouldn't let me extract it. I use Vista if it makes any difference.
