its the B'Rel class 150m 2 x Triple fire distuptors and 1 x Photon launcher. The B'Rel will just be a basic friate for the klingons. not a threat in singles but in groups they are deadly as they are in the trek world. I'll get some more WIP pics of various thins i have updated for this mod. as of right now we have 3 ships actually in work, should have 4 or 5 by the end of next week.

i pretty sure stress mentioned to me that originally he didn't want gravity wells in the trek mod, but unfortunately they are hard coded. Borg right now is not going to happen, but there is plans to incorporate them later on. With the Borg it basically breaks any type of ballance, but i've already been putting together a plan for stress to review on how we can make the borg work and be balanced. ok time to get some help. Major stress and i have been trying to get one of our ships ingame and look properly. Now i figured out that you can use softimage to save the format to xsi format by using either dotxsi or using croswalk to export it to xsi format. But i gotta tell ya, neither work. First off softimage is rather complicated to just plugin textures. Took me a few our but i finally got some of it worked out. i wouldn't go and make an eve mod, Eve will certainly contact you about copying there ships, even if you make your own models of them, and ask you nicely at first to remove them. I know alot of modders who got into several altercations with eve. Its just not worth the headaches.

largest fleet i ever had was scraping all my ships into 1 fleet and having 235 of them, Maxed out the capital ships and i had alot of frigates, and cruisers. I had very little slow down on a medium map with just a single core, i can't wait until i get a dual core and really max it out on a large map, thats going to be fun!

3ds is pretty universal, alot of different modelling programs can use that format to import/export. There's also other programs that can convert 3ds into just about any other format, even autocad.

Think it would be nice to have an auto develop for planets/asteriods. On larger systems its pretty hard to manage them all especially when your steamrolling past the enemies defenses with 200 ships. Maybe have a que system so you just build things in line and not look back.

Well i see alot of you covered most of things i have seen as well. Here's a few more. Easy Ai tends to stick to one system in a 1 on 1 basis, but not when its 2(AI) or more on 1. On medium i noticed that the AI will tend to go after your planets very quickly and just leave. sometimes they took over, sometimes they just left. Found it kinda odd. I also noticed that you can take over the pirates asteriod with culture but not asteriods that just have a local milita. <b
