I'm based freaking in the middle of nowhere so BOB, Goon, and the wars don't really affect me much. Seems no one wants to take over derelik or anything near it (not that I would blame them). All in all, EVE isn't too hard to get into, just make sure to not rush yourself along to much and remember don't fly a ship until you can fly it well.

So then, there technically isn't a movie to compare with yet..... Ithink it would probably be better to use Fusion or Corruption (she has a way better ship and it shows all of the pirate and GF ships), as opposed to echoes, but ok. Don't think it really can be compared: Metroid game 1 main character hardly ever spends much time in a spaceship doesn't go exploring just for the heck of it, she's a bounty h
And the whole Starbase thing.....he mentioned VANILLA sins in the 1st line of his 1st post.... Personaly, I'd just spam LRMs until I could afford carriers and kodiaks. Don't spend too much of your resources on definsive buildings, either. Focus mainly on ships early game.
Yeah, Sci-Fi doen't even show any good Sci-Fi stuff anymore.....just stupid crappy B movies and such. What happened to stargate (the other ones), startreck, galactica, babylon 5, etc. I mean come on...they could at least show re-runs....
Stargate owns all!
unless it's a multi-star game...then it would be reeeally helpful.
Select the frigate factor and then press Ctrl+number (number bein 0-9; ex. Ctrl+4 now, whenever you hit the number 4 on you keyboard, it will select that frig factory)
Everything has pointed to the Vasari's enemy being something of their own creation. The opening video begins with a Vasari research base before describing their exodus, and most accounts indicate that whatever it is, they made it.
Replicators. *cough, cough* Seriously, though. Stargate and SoaSE are very similar: TEC = Humans (obviously) Vasari = Goa'uld Ad
Well, I for one haven't built any flack frigs since probably 1.04. A fighter spam kills enemy fighters + their ships too, so there's not really a reason to build flack. I like the idea of strikecraft costing money, as it would bring back the flack frigate into the game, while not radically shifting the balance of play.
How about this: The minelayer ship gets a "minesweeping" upgrade. Couple that with invisible mines (uless a scout is present) and they would still be useful, but not OP. *Note, I don't actually have Entrenchment. Yet.
Hey, if I get a chance I'll try to get a game in on this. Sounds like fun. I liked the epic story.
Your's will do just fine. I play large maps on this (though I have to turn the graphics down for LAN or Internet games to prevent lag): Dual Core AMD Opteron Processor 180 2.41 GHz 1 GB RAM 256 MB Nvidia GeForce 7600GT (GT or GTS; can't remember) 160 GB hardrive Windows XP Pro So far, I've found that aboul all I have to do is keep the planets' graphics on medium or low and pretty much no lag. (everything else at highest) &
around the 1st, I beleive.
Actually, Evil, gt and I might be able to work something out.
Yeah, evidently a technitian soldered a wire on to the wrong connection, wich make on of the giant magnets crack. To repair it, they have to warm up the entire collider (it's below/around -200F), replace the magnet, and cool it back down again... In short, it could take a while to fix, not to mention the $$ ivolved...
@Your comment to Blair: Yes, I already said that in about 10 words. Good job on the essay, though. "Yeah, real mature...." What part was that ! Can you point it out for me so next time I can sit up straight while typing. Who thinks giving your opinion about your game experience and posting it on the MP forum is worthy of mature and world changing debate, hmm I wonder. That would be the part I quoted from you. And I can't really dec
I guess the RMS Lusitania and Pearl Harbor weren't important? I'm amazed at how much our own history is contantly being rewritten. I think the reason for entering both wars was fairly clear: We were attacked.
Well, "technicaly," we were smuggling war supplies to Britain on the Lusitania, so the Germans "technically" had a right to sink it. You forgot Andrew Jackson and the Mexican-American war....and Madison and the War of 1812. So, wait! Let me do the math.... That's, what, D= 7 and R= 2 wars... Oh, there's the Tripoli thing too..... Jefferson didn't want a (good) navy... Let's see: I'm guessing that's like 1000000 (1 million) American lives vs., I dunno, 10000 (ten thousand) at most. Yes...Republicans are so evil....... "Oh dear here we go again “check this and check that “ have you done this have you done that !!!!! the list goes on and on “ but I ain't done nought to this computer I think, why would it all go bonkers on me." So, why'd you post it if you didn't want help?..... "So today I came back to have another go and GUESS WOT IT IS BUST again. Not an online game in sight just a big dafty ERROR stating you have been disconnected!!!! <p
(I wonder if anyone would notice/care if Idaho seceeded from the union, or if the'd even bother taking us back.....) Three cheers for the Socialist States of America!!!! May we live long, poorly (but equaly) and without our basic CONSTITUTIONAL (guns, free speech, whatever else) rights! My take on redistribution of wealth (does not take into account leaving the old USofA): 1) Rich people get taxed + become middle class
Note that if you ever want to paly it with more than 2 people over a LAN, you'll need more than 1 copy. Otherwise, you'll be fine.
Half of your post was on money. Oh, and btw, SoaSE was only $40 in the first place.

1) Have you ever bought an expansion to a game before? 90% of the time they cost $30 or more. Get over the price. 2) Ironclad only has 1 game out. This one. They need money. 3) Be glad you haven't been charged for all of the patches.* *Note: These were ctually game-changing updates (not just bug fixes). All 5 of them (soon to be 6).
