This is funny. I thought I was the only one. I use Google Desktop and I've noticed that if it's on when I'm playing sins, the planets are all transparent (it looks kind of cool, actually.) I closed Sins, closed GD, restarted sins and everything's back to normal. I also saved a gave with the transparent planets, just to see what would happen. It turns out that when you load it, it looks completely normal. Basically, this has no effect on the game, save the transparent planets part... <br
Anubis208-RG
I like them in all games except 1v1s. They make great annoyances to your enemy and great experience points for your capital ships.
If at all possible, please try to do it on the forums (it's a formallity), but, if all else fails, yeah, I will approve your application here.
@ EvilTesla Actually, we just got 2 more members today... (And, no, Demujen was not one of them.)
If you read the origional post, you will see that the Ori will not be in the mod.
What's with the "every 10 days thing," anyway! Does EA really think that I'm going to play my LEGAL game one day, and then go out and get a pirated one and play that the next day?! @Multi You could always incript your private files, if you really want to.
I would try to convince you to go this Hopeful Horizon, but right now, RG need more memebers. ;)
hehe
oh, ok thanks.
Um, guys, hate to burst your bubble, but it doesn't say anything about Spore whatsoever.
Only about 2/3 are active, though. :)
lol
Plus, in the patches, the old files are overwritten, so it is impossible to have the newer patch play old saved games because of the difference in code.
Bounty not only makes pirates go after you but also gives an incentive to other players to attack you, as they can collect the bounty when they destroy your ships, structures, and planets. It is for this reason that placing bounty when there are no pirates is still allowed. Now, as for the one on one (there is no one else to collect the bounty), it's probably a bug. Unless, of course, ToJKa is right about them being Advent.
To destroy a ships, you just need to destroy its hull. If your phase missiles can destroy the hull before the sheilds, then you just saved yourself a lot of time.
Edit (as there is no "edit" button. Weird, I know) to the second line: "to balance out the multiple squadrons."
And, you would think that there would be more than one squadron on a carrier... Maybe they could have their dps slightly reduced.
Hopeful Horizon will be having a make over in about a month or so, but for now, feel free to have Para (or yourself) contact us on our forums under our clan xhalenge section (or whatever it's called).
Wow five time, that must be a record! But what would you call it, and could it also replace the Kostura Cannon, and just have other upgrade, that stacks on top of this one. This fleet bounes, would give more of an reason, to build fleets, other then, to not use hot keys.
Thanks. Possible Name: Zero-Point Energy Siphoning Maybe the Kostura Cannon could turn into a tech that would double the affect of the affore stated tech. This (above stated plan
Hey, sorry about that. I really didn't mean to post that 5 times. I am not trying to spam this thread. (Man, I hate these crappy forums!!!!) - no offense to Stardock/Ironclad
You could replace RA with a tech that includes all of the following: Give all ships a 10% increase in sheilds, hull, antimater. Increase all ships' attack damage by 5%. Increase all ships' regeneration/repair rates for sheilds, hull, and antimatter by 10%. Make all ships 10% cheaper. Or something like that. Right now it's almost impossible to defeate someone with RA on a large, multi-system map.
