Yeah like I said I realy would like a "concede" to just lose option. without taking out the AI. the rest of the ideas I said was just an after thought which would be cool but maybe for an expansion or something if you realy wanted to take time on it.

Or it would of worked realy well if you had the right ships.. but then again you probably would of missed the chance to hit him up like you did due to the fact you were scouting to much and figured you needed more xxx ship before executing it.

after thinking about yet, I seen 1 flaw in that after conceding a person with 4 sectors will all a sudden get 8 sectors due to me conceding. and be able over to overwhelm the other players. but I think this adds more strategy. yes he has 4 new sectors but like I said you get only a percentage of the resources. Also other players have a chance to Liberate your sectors. one way I thought of doing it is like a Tug of war, or King of the Hill. You keep a fleet in that sector long enough the timer s

One thing I must say is im always thinking of ideas. Its just who I am, love em or hate them but Im usualy vocal about them. The idea today is: Concede I noticed with alot of matches that most people admit defeat before actualy having there whole empire destroyed and quit the game because at some point you know you cant win and it will take another hour or more to be totaly wiped out. I would like an option to just Concede so to admit im defeated and give that nice Victory windo

As it is now it takes a long time to play a multiplayer game with someone. If you add in counters for counters to harsly.. then the game would drag on even longer. I like how it is now where someone winning usualy involves good timing at when to attack/where to attack, when to run, when to stay, what to capture, or spend resources on defense or other techs that in the long run might give you more advantage. I played a game that took almost 2 hours.. I didnt research any planet civilian upgrades

Your comparison of 10x LRMs vs building 1 capital ship is a little off.. yeah its more cost effective and less time to build a capital ship.. but that ship can only attack what 1 or 3 targets? where 10x LRM all concentrate dmg on the capital ship and overall should have more dmg output than 1 capital ship.

well maybe instead of having a captial ship as a starting flagship you should truly get a real flagship. Everyone starts with the same flagship it can be a uniqe unit. that basicly boosts your forces thats within range. captial ships should be more expendable. reason I say this is.. from my experiance is that I tend to keep my flagship at the end of the gravity well so I can easily jump out. but I want it there to gain the exp. I can replace my frigates alot faster and cheaper than my flagship

I also had some graphic problems with the game since the update yesterday, It would drop my FPS down to a crawl when there was a Gas Giant planet model being drawn, also when I had a repair platform model being drawn, and when I was zoomed in close to see the jump particle effect. as well as the Trade/Alliance screen being half invisable with lines all over. To fix the problem I found out I had to lower the graphics sample rate down. I had it at 4x. at 2x it worked alot better but still some la

when I first read about SINS I saw the "exploration" and what I thought was imediatly "thats cool so you can actualy have a ship explore the planets and nebulas" So why dont they have a ship or kind of like the scout ship.. go off and explore .. have it SIT at a planet or nebula doing scientific exploration for a set amount of time.. maybe it will find something and notify you. At that point you should have a salavage ship or maybe the same ship would Pick up the artifact and carry it to your

I guess I never understood the flagship thing. I asumed your starting captial ship was the exact same as any other capital ship you build.. except you start the game with it and its already lvl 3. Does it have a bonus to it? similar to how your Home World has a bonus to it? I lost my Homeworld 1 game and it litteraly crippled me. unless I had resources to designate a new one. but still something you cant recover from if the enemy is pounding through your sectors. Also I think your flagship is al

The reason we didnt make it a 6 player game with 1 AI is because currently the AI isnt good enough to be a problem. in fact when someone leaves the game and the AI takes control ive noticed most of the time the players in the game then ignore that AI from the rest of the game. If you setup a 3v3 and 1 side has an AI then that side will obviously still be at a disadvantage so we did a FFA

well I didnt think it would be appropriate to take over planets and attack whomeever you wanted just for the fact it would be another race instead of being the pirates. the Idea was basicly because the AI currently isnt that strong. If a player was in control the pirates it would make them alot more difficult to deal with. I just figured kind of keeping them as the pirates now just being controled by a real person. but would need some game play aspects that the player would need to keep there in

I might of found another bug in the game. I had an AKKAN captial ship that increases attack range by 12% at the time I noticed it. and I upgraded my missle technology tree to so it was supose to add like another 8% range or so.. well when I look at the LRMs within range of the AKKAN it still only showed in the description that it had a 12% attack range. Are they intended to not stack? or is it just reading out wrong?

Hey did you check out what I was doing during this Multianna? at the start I had cease fire alliances with Mr. Wonderful and Lord. so neither attacked me. well after your apparent taking of the asteroid and Reaver allied with Lord, and you and Wonderful started the seige on Lord.. if you notice Reaver offered me a cease fire and asked to help defend Lord's planet. At that time I pretended to be all attacking Wonderful on another front when in fact I was helping him fend off the pirate raiders. a

Today I came up with an idea that would need to be fleshed out a bit. I was starting a game with 5 people, so we did a FFA game because of the uneven 5th person. And I thought.. why not let a player control the Pirates. They wont necessarily win the game ever, just basicly be the one who controls the Pirate fleets. Of course you would need to have some different game play on how they are played. Like the only way to aquire money is by attacking people with a bounty on them, perhaps it will ally

didnt read this whole post but. how about adding a new research tree seperate from military and civic, make a Defense tech tree. Reasons being that the defense in the game is good for slowing down an invasion so you can bring your fleet in to defend. but how about a defense tree so your defense can actualy defend most attacks by themselves without your fleet's help? I was thinking of this because of the 4v4 multiplayer match I did. my 3 team mates would be the muscle in attacking and I was doing

Im not beating on yah P5yy. If you didnt want to play it happens. just saying you didnt have to leave so early. heck I sat back as civil research feeding my team mates at the start because i was in the same spot you was in. it worked out just fine for me. in fact lets you build up without to much worry of the others beating on your planets it was quite fun. When I play sins I play to have fun and do my best, I dont expect to win. even if I was like poorman with 3 fleets on me I would be trying t

I dont have a save of it. but it did it twice. the first time like I said there was about -15 fleet points which it wasnt building because it was in the negative. I just had to go and right click to cancel build on about 3 cobolts to make it start the build timer again. the 2nd time it droped again about -8 and again just canceled a few ships being built. to get it to start again. Also.. when he took over all but my homeworld I had like way over the amount of ships allowed by the fleet cap for

Maybe the pirate AI should become larger based off of the intended target. early in the game would be small size.. by later game become a huge fleet. Also, maybe the pirates could attack multiple people based off of how many players are in the game.. say theres 8 players and pirate raid happens.. it should maybe target the top 2 or 3 highest bounty players. I think what someone said earlier a more targeted attack might be ok.. say instead of putting a bounty in the trade screen you

Not sure if anyone has noticed or said anything yet. I was playing a game and had about 40 ships que'd up being built. during that time a planet of mine was lost and put my fleet limit at a negative -15 ish. Then I noticed several minutes later when I went to manage my fleet being built that.. it wasnt being built. it was stuck at about 30ish ships in que and wasnt producing them untill I unloaded some from the que so it was a posative number again. on a side note will there be any que'

This match was very fun for me, and I think would of been even more fun if the opponents didnt leave so early. As the game started I noticed I was in the best spot for my team and I decided to train all civic to help support the other 3 players. I wish the game other opponents would of stayed longer to see how well the strategy worked. also I wanted to say that the lag seemed no worst than in a 1v1 game on my end, and im not sure if some were actualy droped from the game or if they quit without
