There is something DARCASTIC going on here.

When the founder elite ends it should be replaced by regular founder which gets you access to beta and the base game.
If I had to pick one thing I would say it is designing my own units.

Reduce the amount of room I have or force me to make other difficult and unique choices. See Warlock 2 for *some* inspiration. Maybe even Endless Legend, it looks like.
I think I will agree with this. I did not feel that "Critical decision" aspect when I played LH. Researching techs, building cities felt like more of the same. It did not feel like my
I would have to say general immersion, the game did not draw me in like I hoped it would. Here are some possible factors. -I thought the leaders were a bit bland and lacked strong personalities. At least compared to games like Civ IV and V and GalCiv II where the leaders are more flamboyant and more interactive. -Not a big fan of the cartoonish art style. -Music was not bad but felt pretty generic and lacked "strong moments". &n
I find this thread DARCASTIC in a DARCATIVE way.
DARCATILATION?
That does not sound like an adjective. My favourite so far is still DARCASTIC.
Just make REALLY sure there is no liquid in the mouse when you plug it back, you do not want the thing to go Shorty shorty. Rubbing alcohol is quite volatile, you can blow canned air once you are done to help remove excess liquid. I can get the 99% ethanol here, it is my favourite to clean all sort of electronic.
You can try unplugging the mouse, pourring rubbing alcohol over the wheel so it seeps in the cracks then mash the button with your fingers. With some luck that might clean it. Just wait till it dries before plugging it back ( I.E do it before going to sleep ) If you are feeling a bit more technical you can also unscrew it to do more of a precision job.
DARCASTIC?
Help me guys, Im trying to turn DARCA into an adjective, which would then be used to qualify this post. DARCANE? DARCALE? Edit: DARCHAIC ?
What do you mean? Im not sure to understand. If you press the middle mouse wheel button and move the mouse around it does not rotate the camera for you? It works perfectly fine here. I suppose it works for most people. I would try to solve the problem on your end. Does the middle mouse button work for other applications but only does not work for galciv 2 and 3?? That sounds strange. Wait, you know that the mouse wheel can also be pressed right?
Reminds me that time I deleted system32.dll. Fun times.
I think StarDock made a very good job at making this alpha as polished as possible. Most things are not implemented yet but what is implemented works fairly well. I do not think I have ever been this excited about a game still in development.
I'm just assuming Darca to be Russian or something.
Btw his name is DARCA, plz stop teasing him.
Chris. Firstly, Thank you for taking the time to reply at length. You are very good at making nice forum posts. :) It is true that I have not used the tool that you discuss before so I cannot fully judge what I have not personally tried. I am a long time forum user though. I have been on many forums over the years so I can talk some about them. I do appreciate the forum interface and over time have
If im moving some distance I either zoom out or use the mini map. I played some old school games with edge scroll only recently and it felt so awkward and primitive.
Personally I never use edge panning, I prefer click and drag.
Both of these things were in Galactic Civilizations 2, and will almost certainly be in this game. Don't worry :3
In GalCiv 2 skip turn resulted in loss of movement points. But I think SD will fix it this time for GalCiv 3.
Can you please include a screenshot of your interesting issue?
GalCiv III requieres 64 bit OS and processor, around 4 gb ram minimum and a high speed internet connection to download it off steam. You want to make me believe some poor soul downloaded it off a 56k modem and lacks the the computing power to run a browser at the same time as the game? I can understand some people do not like using browser based forums, I can also understand that some developers lacking a dedicated forum to begin with might decide to make some kind of inbuilt reportin
I just checked the Report Feedback button in Age of Wonders III and it just links your browser to their forum. Haha. Seriously what is wrong with this forum? Is it too hard for you to press alt tab and post your stuff here? Why would you find it more convenient in the game? Taking screenshots, annotating them and posting them on the web is plenty easy already, I can do all of it in less than a minute using only free on the web tools. Plus, using a public forum a
I just played the tutorial and I am not sure what to think. Are we supposed to see all enemies at all time? I am new to that whole simultaneous turn based setting. I grew up with Jagged Alliance and X-com games. It's like a new part of my brain needs to be activate.
Quoting EvilMaxWar, reply 22 So... Many... New... 4X... yes, let us work together to make our own game and call it MaxWar and DARCA's 4X money grab. It would include nothing that hasn't been done before, but we would make it seem like it's revolutionary. DARCA.
Well, this one seems decent. Their previous title was pretty good too, in its own right. Even thoug
