fantastic, absolut great. ich bin absolut begeistert. echte sternensysteme. Ironclad should include this mod in the expansion and they should make a similar attempt for the random generated systems. "Real" sized star systems, a dream comes true.

cool, after the downgrade it installed without any problems. can anyone post a link to the desktop icon. wine has not created a soase.xpm
hi, i have problems installing the game. the moment i try to install soase it starts to download the sin.sdc and thats it, the progress bar does not advance. i have waited an hour or so, but nothing. All i can do is close sdcentral and then it tells me that it is installing soase. i use debian 4 etch, kde and wine 0.9.54 on x86.
give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach him to catch fish and feed him for his life.
i am not sure if this phrase is correct this way (i am a foreigner), but i think it does apply to the whole opengl vs. directx situation. when you use opengl, you use an industry standard and you are able to work for any company (outside the game biz) that is in need of a 3d programmer. when you use opengl, it can be much more easy to make your games multiplatfor
i still wonder why so many devs ignore opengl and sdl and lock themselves into windows, especially since the mac and linux(dell+ubuntu) market is growing (slow but it does)?
oh, okay i did not know that the CE would differ (more weight) that much from the normal edition. You really should update the shop info (additional entry for the ce), so that other stupid customers like me don't get confused. 54€ is ok for a heavier CE, but with the current dollar to euro exchange one always looks for a cheap import.
yes i am sure:
Order summary: Items: $49.95 Shipping & Handling: $29.00 Discounts: $0.00 Total Before Tax: $78.95 Estimated Tax: $0.00 Order Total: $78.95 USD
$29.00 for shipping means that i am not going to buy this game.
just wanted to pre-order BUT shipping to germany is 29.00$!!! galciv2 gold ed. was 10.00$, 29.00$ is insane.
I still dont understand why people want to dump vista...
for someone how builds his pc from components (as every true enthusiast pc gamer should do) it is to expensive and does not offer enough, because you still need at least a decent antivirus application.
..., its only real irritating parts are its painful, system-hogging redundancies...
so i buy an new and powerful vista pc that is not faster than my previous xp pc because vista kills all additional

Just wanted to know if anyone has tried to run SoSE under [link="http://www.winehq.org"]wine[/link]? Would be great to be able to play it without the need to reboot into windows.
