Jafo: Have the same SanDisk installed in my HP dv7 laptop. . .sweet. Also in my main computer is a three year old Intel M 25 80 gig SSD, and SSDLife is still showing at least another nine years of use. SSDLife indicates that in the last three years it has only lost about four percent of it effectives. If you been thinking of buying one then know is not a bad time; they are dropping in price quite rapidly.

For those of you who find the need to only read something that is written on paper here is something to moll over. I enjoy backpacking and hitching (even at 65). In fact I will go out for several days at a time, hence carrying paper books can create a great deal of weight thus meaning you might have to leave something you really need behind. That is where the Kindle is truly handy. With the Kindle you can take a great deal of books with you, and not worry about

I thought this was about some new Microsoft hardware not what someone thinks about Win 8. I was hoping to get some new information not \s. As to Microsoft keyboards and mice I have yet found anything that can beat them for durability, but that just me.

VistArtXPosed: Get a copy of the stand alone version, and you will not have the Cloud problem. daniloOc: not sure what you use Office for, however, if you were an editor you would really find the changes in "Word" very helpful. Also most of us who make a living using Office and other similar software do not deal that much with the UI we are more concerned at how well the application performs, and Office 2013 so far has not disappointed.

An oh by the way . . . DFX is a nice add on for improving the sound. There is a free version and a paid version, The paid version is well worth the money.
Here are a couple you can try; MediaMonkey (one of the best), and Aimp, Songbird, etc. Go to either Bing or Google and search for others. iTunes has worked well for me for about ten years now, however, it takes quite a bit of work to get all the files set up to form a good library. With MediaMonkey you can do it automatically. Also comes with several different skins.
