hiya, i'm trying to install this with a vanilla version of sins v1.191. i tried both 1.3a and 1.3b and neither have worked. do i have to downgrade to an earlier version of sins or what can i do to solve this?

i think those are great ideas, but you shouldnt have to much control over pirates other than who can attack... i mean thats the point of piracy right? Freedom.
unfortunately games based off of other games don't really work, its a good idea but it won't really have much sucess
did you try removing sins from add/remove programs?
i think you should be able to research a tech that allows you to build phase lane accelerators at each planet so you can jump faster between planets, similar to freelancer with "phase lanes"
simply stated sentence about the fact that the scout, with proper support and a small pinch of luck could defeat the cap in approxamately 2.5 secondS EAZ78294J5
and so is the story of america... Plasma TV and HBO but kids totally are worth losing to watch scrubs ya know...
question... is this compatible with v1.1?
yes indeed, too late [e digicons]X([/e]
Ok so v1.1 is out but can we get entrechment beta yet?? i wanna pre order but can i download the beta yet?
oh, ok thanks... i just assumed that the beta was already out and was planning on pre-ordering it sometime this week.
i think for the absolutely amazing sales the games has achieved, the online is not reflective. i mean if they just got the betas straight and released a 1.1 patch. but unfortunately i don't think entrenchment will help the online. but honestly, this game isn't battlefield, it doesn't live on online play. if you took a poll, the majority of people that play sins play singleplayer. that simple
do you need 1.1 beta to play entrenchment beta? and also, has anyone played the entrenchment beta? how is it?
One thing I would like to see changed as well with pirates is whenever you pay them off it's really whoever can afford it (obveously) but also whoever sits at the pirate screen with their mouse on the bounty button the longest as well, since after the timer hits zero you don't know how much time you have untill they launch which really get's to me since I don't wanna sit at the pirate screen for like 5 minutes...
yes, i hope they do add two timers to the
i was just flippin through the old Beta 4 pics and i saw this ship and said "hey that looks pretty cool, why ain't it in the game?" does anyone recognize what ship this is and who it belongs to. i played beta 4 and don't remeber ever seeing this
How about enhancing the pirates? -ability to pay them to attack a specific planet.. hunt a capital ship.. structure?
Yes! that would indeed be nice. making pirates more accurate would make offensive strategies just as they should be... Chaotically Planned!!! (not to put you astray but honestly, you can have the pirates attack one front as you attack another, basically either splitting their fleet or distracting it.) <
. Here is a strategic area of the game, I feel that stars should be able to be buffed so that they serve as a defensive area as well and not jsut a door to a system like they currently are. I find it really annoying that in order to protect an entire system you need to buff out all the planets phase jump connected to the star or else if oyur whole fleet is at the star the enemy could come in, phase jump and get a few attacks in on a planet before your fleet arives to defend. Maybe a mo
i'd like to see, like firefly said, and economic powerhouse. not only that but be able to more control your economy maybe add an power to a cappy to make them double a planets tax output for x amount of time... or of course make an economic focused cappy
i've been listening to Coldplay's new song "Viva La Vida" and love it. and i'm really pumped cause i just won two tickets to Coldplay in Chicago at the united center from WTMX 101.9 here's a link to their new song http://www.last.fm/music/Coldplay/_/Viva+La+Vida
when those reviews mean it has a steep learing curve, they more mean it has a steep "mastering curve" it'll take u a couple games to really expierence everything and even then, u still got a lot to learn from stragety to basic planet setup to choke-points to fleet strcuture to well...
hey come on guys, don't rip the manual and y are u reading the manual?
yeah, culture also effects how much cash comes in and how much crystal and metal. if the planet has 100% allegence, then it gets 100% of its possible cash and resources if the planet has 90% allegence, then it gets 90% of its possible cash and resources and so on...
also, how bout the possibility of having a solar system on every map with planets orbiting around the sun with moons and maybe real asteroid belts like the ones we see on our solar system?
Note: i asked about this when i was in the beta and i was told that it would make the game extremely slow because of all the crap going on.
imagine the depth of this with no lag would really set a brick stone for future generation
who are u kidding? my g
lol i disagree, i like that they use
a religiously significant term
to amount to forum popularity :d
