how can u make a stargate mod when 1 faction (mankind) has no ship designs of its own?

i dont see why u'd have to ask permission. unless offcourse if u profit from it or leave their names out of the credits. otherwise why not? i would see it as an honour and an homage if "my work" from back then would still be good enough to be re-used for this game now. also, some of these people could be damned hard to find.

in that case at least the broken glass on active pirates is definitly a bug.

in all my games where i turned of the pirates the bases are also allways still alive, the pirates dont go out of their system or anything and ai sometimes puts money on other factions but the pirates dont react to it. they got the cracked glass in the portrait and the are dead, its just the pirate bases still require a good fight to take over and dont hang abandoned in space.

once some1 has made some good shipmovements it could be nice though

its a nice idea but that would become a shit load of micromanagement, especialy if u have 2 or 3 simultanious battles at different fronts.
