This is funny. I'm not even sure what we are arguing about, I merely asked a question way up there in regards to Spore and you felt the need to be rude to me. I'm unsure why. Explain to us what exactly you are "right" about please? Kanzig

The point that Spore could potentially be more building/creating oriented than combat oriented. I agree.
From what I gathered you don't really have a point. I'm just providing a link and information that shows why I thought Spore would be something similar in design to SimCity. Try being less childish or less rude. Kanzig
Bubb9, Please read the beginning of this link where they say Spore was originally going to be called "Sim Everything." It would seem the award for ignorance will go to you instead. [link="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spore_(video_game)"]WWW Link[/link] Kanzig
I don't think Spore will be much like Sins of a Solar Empire at all. I could be wrong but there isn't much combat in Spore is there? Seems like more of a SimCity type game? Kanzig
Looks like that battle was VERY confusing. I'm hoping it won't be tough to manage all those bombers and fighters and frigates and capital ships.
Ahh the lore section. Now I see it. Plenty of fluff to give you an idea of how each race thinks but not much in the way of actual strategy or unit differences. I'll check out those links you posted Raymundus but I'll keep in mind some of the data is outdated. Seems like the Advent are big on low numbers but heavily shielded/armored units. TEC seems like the low cost/high numbers race and the Vasari are somewhere in the middle? Kanzig
Hi all, Been following Sins of a Solar Empire for awhile now but I find something odd... On the main site, there is nowhere I can find that tells me what three races are in the game and what the differences/styles are of them. I'm not sure if this is done on purpose. I was not in the beta so I want to start thinking about what race I would like to play as. Is there a post or some source of information that will tell me about the three races and possibly give me a unit list f
This appears to be fixed. EBGames.com now shows Sins of a Solar Empire available for pre-order with the proper release date. Thanks Yarlen. P.S. What happened?
As of January 3rd, Sins of a Solar Empire is no longer listed on EBGames.com or GameStop.com. I know for sure I saw it posted a couple weeks ago but now it's been removed. Are these stores not selling it after all? Did the release date move for North America? Kanzig
Shouldn't research time factor in the size of the map you are playing? Smaller maps mean quicker research and larger maps mean slower research? Depending on what sort of game you are looking for. I get worried when someone says they played for three hours but didn't even come close to finishing the game but then again wheresmysnack might have deliberately set the game up with a huge map and made the options so it would take a long time to play.
