BootSkins problem in OS Customization WinCustomize Forums

I read the pinned guide and didn't find an answer there relating to this question, so I guess this would be the place to ask. I've tried installing all three versions of BootSkins that are available for download on Stardock's site. The newest version, 1.05a, causes a pseudo-BSOD after getting partially into the boot.
