Well you needn’t have dozens of trade ships, just a handful doing the rounds and since they’re larger, more health points and carrying a hell of a lot more credits, it would be like guarding a unarmed capital ship through sectors. I personally like the idea. :D

That’s an idea for the pirates, another would be the Striebs from season 2 or simply adjust the health points of the pirate ships to match the raiders from the show. Or... and I’m not sure if this is a possibility, you could have different types of pirate bases. One for each minor race, that way it could then be an option for the map maker which pirates would show up in game. Either way it’s still early days and I‘m sure it’s vitally more important to get the main races and mo
I don’t have any problems with ship vs. ship balance (or at least I haven’t noticed any imbalance.) but I do agree with the point about fleet cap/swarms. I grow tired of seeing a feet with 60+ LRMS or whatever single ship class. It seems the only time I get a decent, reasonable engagement, is within the first 10-15 minutes, when at the most people will generally have 1-2 cap ships and 5 other lesser ships trying to defend or expand their territory. I know the idea is to have
I completely agree with the OP (original poster.) It’s my belief that the majority of strategy gamers have been weaned into playing in a certain fashion, turtle or rush, those strategies have been catered for by game dynamics and those they play against. But not Sins, I’m glad to see that Sins opens an entire host of different tactics for us to employ, so the limitations of the two play styles is no longer there, it’s just a matter of people changing their strategy viewpoints. I'm not too sure if you can do it in the in-game editor but if you're using Galaxy forge just click to one side, so that nothing is selected, then you'll have the main map properties where you can select star colour, map description, wither or not you get a free capital ship, etc, etc. Hope that helps. :)
The countdown timer is related to your system clock. My guess is that there will be an announcement sometime tomorrow ...Then all hell breaks loose. ;)
Very nice demonstration! The crabs movement speed and grace is akin to the show. And yes, glad to see progress so early on. :CONGRAT:
No, sadly I’ve never been involved with any B5 projects, I have been involved in other mods, literally many years ago, for games of a very different genre. The reason why I decided to post and try to involve myself, is purely because I didn’t post, share ideas and generally get involved with B5 modifications before, I sat back, watching them come and go without bringing forth my ideas, which might have helped or not but as a B5 fan, that is something I should have done. So
Firstly I’d just like to say thank you to all those willing/wanting to undertake the task of doing a B5 mod! Unfortunately I haven’t participated in the beta phases so my suggestions are purely speculation and hope that they can be done. With B5 you want to cover just about everything however trying to take it all on at once is ill-advised and that’s what the majority are saying, categorising events within the B5 universe, making it easier to manage. Personally I rec
